It is named for the remote, rugged mountain area north of Nuuk, Greenland, where it was discovered in 1982 and is still painstakingly mined today. How our Wands are Made: All of our wands are made by hand by Artisans in Peru and India. This is not to say that they do not using a grinding stone that may be electrically powered, but it does mean that they don't just dump beautiful crystals into a machine and out comes a finished wand. These are hand-crafted by skilled Artisans.
I've recently had the pleasure of interviewing my friend Irfan who's company makes some of our Pendants and some of our wands all by hand in India. He gave me a detailed explanation, which I am honored to share with you. This method is similar, if not identical, to how the beautiful community of carvers in Peru make wands for us as well.
The Artisan first starts by cutting rough crystal material into rectangular shaped pieces that are roughly 50% bigger than the finished wand will be. This is all dependent on the quality of the material as some material that is hard to work with like Green Epidote or Pyrite that have crystal cavities [called vugs] that can jeopardize the integrity of the wand.
What you may not be able to appreciate is that quite a few of the wands break during one of the steps from start to finish. The good news though for us crystal lovers is that none of the product goes to waste...they save all the pieces and make smaller products from broken wand pieces.
So, from the 4 sided rectangular piece of material they then fashion the point. The next step is to create an 8 sided wand, then a 16 sided wand all grinding the flat facets by hand with skill & great care. Once they get it down to a 16 sided wand they start rounding the entire wand. One thing you make take away from this that may be useful in helping you realize a wands value is that the rounded smooth, tapered, pointed wands actually take more time to make and are worth more because of that.
So, to determine a wands value it's often priced by the material's cost, most often in $/ Kilogram and then the amount of time to create the wonder-full work of art.
I hope this helps provide you some insight into how hand made wands are made. I think it's incredible that we have the blessing to be able to buy a beautiful piece of art made from metaphysically valuable material that has been crafted by a beauty-full human being with love and great care for less than some of us pay for a dinner out. My baby is half rottweiler and half doberman &’ he has a pretty strong grip when it comes to chew toys. But this one, it’s his favorite toy! He never leaves the house without it. It’s also really fun to add his favorite treats in there when’s he bored to keep him entertained! Not loud at all and will keep him from chewing on other things and not heavy as other rough chew toys!

Great you made super well

This is such an awesome toy. It’s super durable strong bounces and a perfect size. We got the small. We got blue because our pup can see it. It allows for creativity and endless limits to what you can make for it to be a fun experience. It has a nice sized hole in the center which allows you to add treats and food. Pop it inward and it slightly if large enough prevents the treats from coming out super fast. The ball rolls bounces and they can grip it nicely.
It is easy to clean
The only thing I didn’t like was the way the plastic tabs were situated inside the toy as you just be careful you don’t allow it to drip inside and dog gets it. No noise just fun. Our 15lb Cavapoo loves it

No challenge once they figure it out once, or if they have a long nose

The first time I used this with my 9 month old Shepard mix, it was great. We used about 1/3 cup of her kibble and added the Nook to make it harder. It kept her working for 20-30 minutes. However, now that she knows how to remove the Nook, and stick her snout into the opening and lick up the kibble, it lasts about 5 minutes, and is no longer a challenge. She still enjoys playing with this, even when it is empty, and hasn't it destroyed it yet, so for that 3 stars.

Buy it — it’ll be your dogs best friend!

Best treat toy ever! In the beginning of 2025 I bought this for my 12yr old Alaskan Malamute who loves puzzles and brain games. She loved it and played with it every day. Sadly, she passed middle of this year. Now in December, I have purchased this toy again for my newly adopted 10 month Great Dane puppy. Again, it’s an absolute hit! My Dane eats very fast, so I actually use this as a way to break up her meals. I put about half her meal (freeze dried raw kibble) in her slow feeder bowl and fill this toy about two times to feed her the other half. Also, we are crate training and before I leave the house I put treats in this toy and leave it in the crate with her. She has bad separation anxiety, but this toy actually seems to help calm her down because she enjoys it so much. I have bought many treat toys — this one is supreme. It’s not too loud or too difficult for the dogs to play with. So far it has held up without being chewed apart. It’s good quality, great size (orange for large breeds) and honestly, worth every penny.

Well made dog toy

The snoops are great for our active labrador. He is a very aggressive chewer, and so far, has not destroyed a snoop yet. He has mulitples. They are a great size for filling with treats or kibble and they keep him engaged in the activity. He even likes to carry them when he does his zoomies sometimes. They are lightweight and sturdy, and the material is nice and flexible. Great toy / puzzle ball to have around for your pup!
