The Reverend Charger 290 is a classic among the brand. Its time-tested assembly and effortless tonality make it a guitar to pick up and drift off with – an effortless musical tool for trekking one’s own tonal compass.

This particular Charger 290 is brought together with a Russo Music-exclusive combination of features. The Reverend Venetian Gold finish that dazzles upon this guitar’s single-cutaway Korina wood body is instantly eye-catching and a statement all its own. In addition to brandishing a stellar Venetian Gold finish, the Korina body functions as a vehicle for delivering on a consistent tonal vision.

Korina, a resonant, midweight tonewood, meets up with a heat-treated roasted maple neck on to form the preliminary profile of the 290. Reverend’s heat treatment bakes out moisture and imperfections in the wood to ensure stability, reduce weight and tint it with a classy caramel color. This Medium Oval-shaped roasted maple neck pairs wonderfully with a sleek twenty-two fret fingerboard.

When picked up and held, this Charger is already a refined work of art. However, plugging in this piece is the best way to collect its musical riches. Reverend’s custom proprietary pickups land on this exclusive Charger 290 for a palette of masterful sounds available at one’s fingertips. Two Reverend 9A5 P-90 pickups are loaded into this guitar to summon all the grit and bite needed to cut through a mix and make a true statement. These pickups are not without their nuance, though. When paired with Reverend’s Bass Contour control, players can tighten up low end, find new tonal sweet spots or re-voice the guitar entirely for a dynamic instrument that melds with just about any style.

Topped off with only the most reliable and precise hardware appointments, this Charger remains a sturdy and stable instrument session after session. Reverend’s synthetic bone “Boneite” nut reduces string friction and enhances tuning stability while their patent-pending triple-tree string tree eliminates string buzz. Pin-lock tuners land on this Charger for incredible intonation and tuning consistency. This guitar – like all other Reverends – is hand-initialed by a Reverend technician to ensure its quality upon inspection.

Altogether, this exclusive Charger 290 is a striking instrument and as always, a pleasure to feature here at Russo Music.

Very well written, great coping ideas for toddlers!
Format: Paperback, Format: Paperback
A little backstory - my son hits. It’s not like aggressive but he is 19 months and tends to use his hands when he is frustrated. That being said I am genuinely impressed with this book. It seems long but it’s not. It’s a good length but my toddler was able to sit through the whole thing. It has plenty of pictures for each coping skill, making it one skill per page. My son seemed to really be paying attention and absorbing the book. The author did well putting things in simpler terms while also continuing to repeat why hitting is bad. The author describes many different ways why hitting hurts, makes people sad, hurts them physically and mentally. It’s all inclusive, different kids that all look different. That was a bonus for me. I love books who acknowledge us all. It teaches our children to do the same. Pages are sturdy, they are paper not that waxy laminated material. But they’re thick and the book is structured well. Books are such an important part of children’s development and vocabulary. My son has learned a whole new vocabulary. This book has helped him put faces, pictures to his feelings. It has made those feelings real and seen. Sign me up for all the books like this!

Decent book with good techniques for kids
Format: Paperback
Cute book that my two and a half year old will reach for every now and then. She'll try mimicking what they're doing, like clenching her fists and blowing bubbles, while she reads it. However, she doesn't really use the techniques when she is mad and just telling her "we don't hit when we're mad" and "we don't hit our friends/mama/daddy/etc" has been more effective. But maybe when she's older this will help if she starts hitting again.

Perfect aged book
Format: Paperback
I truly liked this book for our son when he was 3 years old. It was done very simple and to the point. It allowed you as a parent to add on if you wanted and to talk about the pages. This was a very helpful book in our house.
