We improvised a pattern on the fly and quickly sewed up a carrier that served us well. We recently updated the design—and embiggened it for standard wood stoves.
Our Log Carrier is made from strong Army surplus cotton duck canvas in a cool grey or muted green, and sturdy hickory wood dowels, which were sanded and finished by hand with beeswax.

Handmade one at a time by Doug on antique industrial sewing machines in our home studio outside of Philadelphia.
