Released in 2020, Imploding the Mirage is The Killers' explosive sixth studio album, marking a bold departure from their Las Vegas roots as they recorded in Los Angeles and Park City, Utah.

Produced by Shawn Everett, Jonathan Rado (Foxygen), and the band themselves, this album pushes their signature anthemic rock sound into new, atmospheric territory. Featuring powerful synth-driven melodies, soaring choruses, and deeply introspective lyrics, Imploding the Mirage continues the band's tradition of grand, cinematic storytelling.

For the first time, The Killers welcome a stellar lineup of guest collaborators, including Lindsey Buckingham (Fleetwood Mac), k.d. lang, Weyes Blood, Adam Granduciel (The War on Drugs), Blake Mills, and Lucius, adding rich textures and dynamic influences to the album’s sound.

With standout tracks like “Caution”, “My Own Soul’s Warning”, and “Dying Breed”, this vinyl LP pressing is an essential addition to any Killers fan’s collection. Secure your copy today and experience The Killers’ evolution in their most cinematic and ambitious album yet!

Not a Users Guide
Format: Paperback
Although many readers may find this book useful, it describes a particular approach to Powerpoint. It is not anything like a comprehensive users guide.

Just linear
Format: Paperback
I appreciate that it helps to organize the chaos of information, but I just used the template verbatim with my manager and it did not go very well. He said this linear approach does not work anymore with high-level corporate audiences. They want to cut right to the chase and start to dig into the deep details. This layout with simple images, even if you just pull away the map and anchor slides, makes the storytelling too much like a story, not giving enough credit to the speed at which certain audiences can and do process data on a slide. It was an interesting exercise and I still think this linear layout works in some cases. Just not if you are trying to communicate business case or other C-suite type of information.
