This Stingray Special Bass represents a modern iteration of the classic model, incorporating contemporary elements and materials to cater to the needs of today's musicians. Crafted from select hardwood, the body maintains the iconic Stingray shape, featuring two deep cutaways and a contoured belly for enhanced comfort.
Secured with a four-bolt plate, the neck of this Stingray Special Bass is constructed from roasted maple, which undergoes a specialized heat treatment process to purify the wood and ensure greater neck stability. The fingerboard is crafted from ebony, boasting an 11-inch radius, 22 frets, and dot inlays, remaining faithful to the Stingray Special's traditional aesthetics.
Fitted with a custom Music Man neodymium humbucking pickup, this bass delivers a robust and articulate sound, characterized by rich low-end and clarity, reminiscent of classic Stingray bass tones. Its electronics feature a versatile 3-band active EQ and a single volume control.
Finished in a sleek Black Rock gloss polyester, this iconic bass comes complete with a hardshell case.
