We Will Find the Light finds DeRosa at an intersection of influences and experience, and perhaps sounding the most at ease he's ever been, blending his affinity for ambient guitar soundscapes and understated dark folk into a cohesive work, which moves seamlessly through both melancholia and optimism. Within these songs we hear the influences of Leonard Cohen, This Mortal Coil and Nick Cave intermingling with those of minimalist composers like Ingram Marshall and ambient artists like Juliana Barwick and Steve Roach.
