A cuvee of Cabernet and Merlot with only 3 months of oak aging, it shows great length and surprising power. There’s an elegance in term of freshness while the tannins are young and feisty. The nose is expressive and filled with aromas of red cherry, raspberry, leather, mint, fresh cut herbs and a hint of violet. On the palate, the flavours of red fruits like raspberry, red cherry, red currants, and a hint of pomegranate, with the addition of licorice, black berry and after-eight chocolates on the mid-palate. The finish is surprisingly long with lingering white pepper, giving this wine a solid quality/price ratio and making it a crowd pleaser.
Aging potential: Made to enjoy now and over the next 4+ years.
