So we would like to introduce you to our first women's jean. A high rise 50's wide leg cut in a Japanese neppy Jelt denim. We have been working on this for over a year and while we are very happy with it it is running a bit slimmer in the hips then we expected post production so please confirm specs listed specifically hip to waist. We will be offering an additional stretch version for women with more curves. Not trying to offend anyone this is our first go round and will make sure we get it right to cover all woman's body types in the near future. We are already in the sample process and hope to have a curvier stretch version for early spring.
This is a 100% cotton 11.5 oz Japanese neppy Jelt denim in an interesting indigo hue. The key to the high rise is a hidden zipper in the right pocket that will allow you to get into it easily and zip it up high and tight at the waist. We are using our Western label on the back pocket, custom brass/tin horse head/horseshoe button, kelly green key hole and bartacks, natural topstitch, Vintage reproduction bell shaped Conmar brass zipper with matching zipper tape. Cut and sewn in USA.
Since there is not a lot of raw denim in the women's market please note the following. Do not wash until at least 30 wears in order for the stretch to negate the shrink from the first "hand wash" inside out in cold water with a mild detergent, hang drip dry. Do not wash in washer or dry in dryer. We hope you like our first version and look forward to your feedback! Thank you for supporting American made denim!
