Deze dessert wijn is opgebouwd uit de beste oogstjaren namelijk 2004, 2006 en 2007 die is gerijpt op eiken houten vaten die eerder zijn gebruikt voor de malt whisky. Het wordt op de traditionele manier gemaakt, volgens de richtlijnen van DO Setbal. De gisting wordt na korte periode onderbroken door de toevoeging van 'aguardente', een druivendistillaat.

Zeer maar dan ook zeer bijzonder deze dessert wijn, genaamd Bacalhoa Moscatel Roxo 5 Anos. Deze dessert wijn is opgebouwd uit de beste oogstjaren namelijk 2004, 2006 en 2007 die is gerijpt op eiken houten vaten die eerder zijn gebruikt voor de malt whisky. Het wordt op de traditionele manier gemaakt, volgens de richtlijnen van DO Setúbal. De gisting wordt na korte periode onderbroken door de toevoeging van 'aguardente', een druivendistillaat. Vervolgens blijft het sap in contact met de schilletjes om meer smaak te onttrekken. Daarna wordt de most geperst en de wijn rijpt de wijn 5 jaar in eikenhout vaten waar eerst Single Malt Whisky in gerijpt is. De vaten worden in de warme opslag geplaatst, de warmte zorgt voor meer concentratie in de smaak. In de geur veel oranjebloesem, rozen, rozijnen en honing. De smaak is een rijke, complexe wijn met tonen van gedroogd fruit, rozen en honing. Goede balans tussen de zoetheid en de zuurgraad.
