Cedars of Lebanon staat voor kracht en bescherming. De ceder van Libanon is, conform de standaard in het Midden Oosten, een enorme groenblijvende boom. De boom kan een hoogte van zo’n 27 meter bereiken en is daarmee de “koning” van alle Bijbelse bomen. Het hout is verbazingwekkend verval-bestendig en het wordt nooit door insectenlarven gegeten. Het is een prachtige majestueuze en rood getinte boom met diepe groene bladeren. De boomschors is donkergrijs en brengt een gomachtige hars voort, waaruit de zeer aromatische oliën worden geproduceerd. De ceder van Libanon is de sterke en geurige houtsoort die gebruikt werd om het huis van David, het huis van Salomo en een groot deel van de eerste tempel mee te bouwen. Het werd ook gebruikt, in combinatie met Hyssop, om het huis van een melaatse te reinigen. Het spreekt van kracht, duurzaamheid, heelheid en herstel.

Over de Kaarsen

Deze met de hand gegoten palm-wax kaarsen produceren een prachtig design in elke kaars en verbranden schoner dan paraffine. Het elegante label toont zowel de botanische als de geestelijke informatie over deze exotische Bijbelse geur, inclusief Bijbelvers. De geschatte brandtijd van de 3x4 pijler is 50-60 uur, de 3x6 pijler gaat circa 70-90 uur mee.
