Van opener Suffer tot afsluiter I’m in the Middle of A Muddle slaagt Teddy’s Hit erin de aandacht vast te houden. Dat is knap. Zeker met een zes minuten durende eerste single als Liquor Juice: een coming-of-age-song met een catchy zanglijn van zingende drummer Kick Kluiving. Een nummer met genoeg hooks om de hele garderobe aan op te hangen.

Voor muzikale hulp zoekt Teddy’s Hit zijn hulp dicht bij huis. De productie was deels in handen van huisbassist Casper van der Lans (Homesick, Personal Trainer en Pip Blom). Diederike Smits, moeder van drummer Kick, is verantwoordelijk voor het schilderij op de hoes. Painters is een waar kunstwerk met kwaststreken hedendaagse post-punk en Krautrock, maar bovenal geschilderd met een grote liefde voor 90’s indie.
