Blaasveld Broek verwijst naar het prachtig natuurgebied Het Broek naast Stokerij De Molenberg in Blaasveld. Daar werd eeuwenlang turf (gedroogd veen) gewonnen, die destijds voornamelijk diende als brandstof voor de omwonenden en eveneens voor het drogen van gerstemout.

De lokale traditie van turfwinning krijgt met deze expressie een nieuw hoofdstuk. Gouden Carolus Blaasveld Broek wordt gedistilleerd uit een speciaal samengesteld brouwsel met geturfde gerstemout. Dit geeft aan deze geelgouden whisky een zacht gerookte toets, in combinatie met volmondige aroma’s van eikenhout en vanille.
