Naast een instelbare LED-verlichting beschikt dit model over een UV-lamp en een laserpointer, waardoor hij geschikt is voor uiteenlopende toepassingen – van dagelijks gebruik tot professioneel werk. De lamp is vervaardigd uit OAL, een door Olight ontwikkelde aluminiumlegering die bijna twee keer zo sterk is als standaard 6061-aluminium. Dankzij de geanodiseerde afwerking is de lamp niet alleen voorzien van een fraaie groen-grijze kleur, maar ook zeer krasbestendig. Het vierkante ontwerp uit de Arkfeld-serie ligt comfortabel in de hand en is eenvoudig in een broek- of jaszak mee te dragen.

De bediening is doordacht en gebruiksvriendelijk. Met de ergonomische draaischakelaar schakel je moeiteloos tussen LED, laser en UV, zelfs met één hand. Rondom de schakelaar bevinden zich batterij-indicatoren die realtime het energieniveau weergeven (van 4x groen >75% tot rood <10%). Opladen gaat eenvoudig via de meegeleverde magnetische oplaadkabel, die tevens aangeeft wanneer de accu volledig geladen is. De magnetische achterkant maakt het bovendien mogelijk om de lamp op te hangen, handig voor handsfree gebruik.

Veiligheid staat ook bij de Arkfeld Ultra centraal. De zaklamp is voorzien van actief thermisch management dat automatisch dimt bij oververhitting, en een auto shutoff-timer die instelbaar is op 3 of 9 minuten. Daarnaast is de lamp schok- en waterbestendig (IPX7) en wordt geleverd met 2 jaar garantie. Door de hoge lichtopbrengst en compacte vorm kan de lamp warm worden; gebruik van de lock-outfunctie wordt daarom aangeraden.

Must-Have for Dog Owners (Whow have dogs that like to fetch)

Soon as this launcher arrived I went outside with the dogs to try it out. Long story short: This is a great fetch toy. I am able to launch the ball pretty far with little to no effort, and picking the ball back up is as easy as grabbing it with my own hand. A few outlier reviews said the ball was difficult to launch, and I have to disagree. It has been so easy to use I can't possibly see what the problem is. And no, upper body strength is not a factor as I virtually have none. People can get great distance (Half the length of a football field by my eye) in one simple, easy motion. And if other products can launch the ball farther, so what? How far is far enough? Is your dog going to throw a fit because it went 40 meters instead of 50? No. They will not. For anyone upset this toy doesn't launch far enough, ask yourself this: Is the toy for their dog? Or the human who bought it? The bottom line is this: It feels like it's built to last, it's inexpensive, and it does what it is supposed to do. So long as a toy is "good enough" I don't see the point in splitting hairs and trying to determine which fetch toy is the absolute best. Saying it's good enough is a bit misleading though. I can't imagine how a dog toy like this could be any better. It's a must-have for any dog owner. Unfortunately, only one of my pups likes to fetch...
