Amelanchier lamarckii - Krentenboom

De Amelanchier lamarckii (Nederlandse naam: Krentenboompje) komt van oorsprong uit Noord Amerika maar komt daar tegenwoordig niet meer voor. Sinds de 19e eeuw wordt de Amelanchier lamarckii ook in West-Europa aangeplant, en deze plant komt tegenwoordig op veel plaatsen ook verwilderd voor. Bij Plant Delivery verkopen we de meerstammige variant waardoor u een volle struik krijgt die de aandacht trekt in uw tuin.  Doordat de krentenboom meerstammig is wordt is het een brede en volle struik. Dit kunt u ook terugzien op de foto's. De meerstammige struik wordt vaak als solitaire plant gebruikt. 

 

 

Snoei & standplaats

Zodra u de krentenboom wilt kopen, wilt u natuurlijk alles weten over de standplaats en de snoei van de struik. De Amelanchier lamarckii is een makkelijke inheemse plant. Een plekje in de zon, half schaduw of volledige schaduw is prima voor de krentenboom. Dus met de standplaats kan het eigenlijk niet mis gaan. Snoei verdraagt de amelanchier goed dus u kunt de krentenboom altijd terugsnoeien naar uw gewenste hoogte. Snoeien is alleen niet noodzakelijk en we raden het alleen aan om te snoeien als u te weinig ruimte heeft in uw tuin. Als de bodem niet al te nat is, is elke grondsoort ook goed. De krent is daarnaast ook nog winterhard. Het is dus een erg makkelijke plant die weinig voorwaarde stelt!

 

 

Meerstammige krentenboom: Van witte bloesem tot oranjerode bladeren 

De Amelanchier biedt elk seizoen een unieke blik. In het voorjaar bloeit de krentenboom met prachtige witte bloemen, waar de krentenboom ook zeker bekend om staat. Daarna komen er blauwzwarte bessen aan de krentenboom, waar de vogels dol op zijn! In het voorjaar verschijnen er bronskleurige bladeren aan de boom. In de zomer kleuren deze bladeren groen, wat ook een erg mooie frisse blik geeft. Naast de groene kleur, krijgt het blad van de krentenboom in het najaar herfstkleuren die variëren van oranje tot rood. De krentenboom verliest wel vroeg het blad in het najaar, maar dit geeft ook een erg mooi beeld van de gevormde takken van de meerstammige boom.

I own a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek that I recently purchased. I joined a social media group that is geared to Crosstrek owners to learn more about this model. I have read quite a few posts on replacing your wiper blades. Many owners reported that you had to use OEM blades from the dealer. Others reported that you could use aftermarket, but needed adapters. Finally, some people stated they just went to Amazon and ordered blades that fit perfectly. I chose the Amazon route...and am pleased that I did! I found these blades that stated they fit the Crosstrek. The price was decent, and the reviews were positive, so I ordered a set. They arrived very quickly and were well packed so that there were no damages. The set is three blades: the two front and one rear wiper. The quality appeared to be great, with solid frames and heavy rubber blades. Changing out the front wipers couldn't have been easier! You simply push a button on the blades and they slide right off the wiper arms, then the new blades slides on and snaps into place. I believe it literally took less than two minutes to change out both blades! The rear was slightly more difficult. You position the old blade perpendicular to the arm and it pops off, then you slip the new blade on and snap it onto the arm. NO ADAPTERS WERE REQUIRED! Front and rear blades attached perfectly out of the box! The performance is great as well. We recently had almost three days of steady rain (a very welcome storm for our drought-ridden Colorado!), and they kept up with the rain streak free! I've only had them on for a month or so, so I can't comment on their long-term durability, but the rubber is holding up very well so far. I'm not sure if they have these for all makes and models of vehicles, but if they do have yours, I would definitely recommend these for your vehicles!
