De Magnat Alpha RS 8 Zwart is een subwoofer met een vermogen van 160 watt. Het apparaat kan worden aangesloten op luidsprekers van elke fabrikant. Het apparaat is voorzien van een 200 mm (8 inch) high-power long-throw woofer in een basreflexbehuizing die is uitgerust met twee Airflex-poorten. De ingebouwde Klasse D-versterker levert 80 watt vermogen, terwijl het piekvermogen maar liefst 160 watt is. De technologie die in de RS8 is verwerkt, maakt het mogelijk om frequenties tot 25 Hz te laten horen. Met de versterkerelektronica kan het volume, de crossover-frequentie en de fase worden geregeld, waardoor een optimale aanpassing aan de akoestiek van de ruimte mogelijk is. De subwoofer is een ideale aanvulling op elke thuisbioscoop of hifi-installatie.
