Naaldruk instelbaar tussen 0,8 & 1,2 gram, optimum 1gram.

 

Het VMS20E/MKII element was Ortofon's topelement in de vorige eeuw. Het overgrote deel van de hoge kwaliteit kwam van de toegepaste elliptisch geslepen "Naked Diamond" topnaald, waarmee het element was uitgerust.  "Een beter element is namelijk voor meer dan 95% een betere naald bij MD/MM elementen.

Deze 401145 bounded diamond D20E/MKII naald presteert dus niet op het oorspronkelijke (hoge) niveau van de originele Ortofon naald. De door de Japanse top-fabrikant Jico gemaakte "elliptisch geslepen naked diamond naald" brengt het element echter wel weer terug in de "Oude Glorie". Daarmee speelt het element weer helemaal zoals het "gemaakt & bedoeld" was ! Het artikelnummer van deze Jico Naked Diamond uitvoering is 477101.

 

Het enorme wereldwijde tekort aan elliptische (in model geperste) diamanttips voor pickupnaalden heeft een grote Japanse fabrikant aangezet tot het maken van elliptisch geslepen high-grade diamant-uitvoeringen, met betere prestaties. Deze komen medio juli bij ons binnen. (IJs & Weder dienende !) Ze kunnen eventueel al worden besteld en worden dan direct na binnenkomst uitgeleverd.
