Deze Zenkoan klankschaal nodigt je uit tot een moment van rust en verstilling. Ze wordt al eeuwenlang gebruikt in tempels in Japan en China en staat bekend om haar heldere klank en eenvoudige, strakke vormgeving.

De schaal is gemaakt van koper, zink, tin en acht edele metalen (Ag, Ni, Cd, Ru, Pd, Pt, Cr, Mn).
Productie Zenkoan klankschalen
De metalen worden zorgvuldig samengesmolten en vervolgens gewalst en in vorm geperst. Daarna krijgt de schaal een fijne afwerking en wordt deze gepolijst.

Deze klankschaal wordt met aandacht met de hand in vorm gehamerd. Tijdens dit proces doorloopt de schaal verschillende stadia om een zuivere toon te bereiken. Door die handmatige vorming kan de diameter iets variëren; de aangegeven maat is daarom een indicatie.
