New Era Pet Nat 2024Made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Savvy 100% handpicked from New Era Vineyards to produce a delicate version of the Pet Nat style, that is full of strawberries, raspberries, tropical fruits and a little spice to finish of the palate. The artwork has been created and designed in collaboration with Todd Engelsma as a fun depiction of the New Era Vineyards Pfeiffer Rd property at Woodside and the flora and fauna that share the land with us. Food Matches:

Made from 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Savvy 100% handpicked from New Era Vineyards to produce a delicate version of the Pet Nat style, that is full of strawberries, raspberries, tropical fruits and a little spice to finish of the palate. 
The artwork has been created and designed in collaboration with Todd Engelsma as a fun depiction of the New Era Vineyards Pfeiffer Rd property at Woodside and the flora and fauna that share the land with us. 
Food Matches: This wine is best served as an aperitif or alternatively would perfectly accompany an assortment of Sushi, Salmon and soft cheeses my favourite being Triple Cream Brie. 
Winemaking Notes:  2 tonnes of Pinot Noir and 1 tonne of Sauvignon Blanc was hand selected and picked from New Era Vineyards at Pfieffer Rd Woodside.   After arriving at the winery, it was destemmed and then delicately pressed before being sent to tank to settle for 48 hours, after this period of time it was racked and warmed to 18 degrees’ to naturally start fermenting using its own yeast.  At exactly the right time fermentation was stopped by chilling to just above freezing leaving the appropriate levels of residual sugar to conduct secondary fermentation in bottle when needed.  The partially fermented Pet Nat was then disgorged into bottle and sealed with a crown seal, this was then left for the next six months to warm and finish secondary fermentation in bottle creating the Co2 (bubbles) before being labelling and released.

Small Pug Enjoyment For All!

We got this toy to replace an earlier purchase for a rope/squeak toy after finding he loved a holiday purchase by an Aunt which squeaked but was not really meant for tugging/heavy playing like he wanted too, for our half pug/schnauzer Mr. Pug. Compared to the first toy and the attempted replacement he ADORES this toy! As you can see in the above picture he has truly laid his claim to it! The interior padding is durable it seems, and holes where the rope come out have a heavy duty padding for the target dog audience like ours in preventing him from chewing or tearing it up. The crinkly ears were also an enjoyable surprise for him, and the squeaker can move around the torso area of the toy keeping him actively looking for it when he desires it. All in all we would certainly get another toy like this in the future.
