Ram-Air Intake Design
The streamlined Ram-Air design was created to optimize air velocity and density giving you greater performance, flow, and sound over stock. How does it do it? The smooth tapered shape through the EPDM bellows creates proper airflow management without turbulence zones or choke points. Also, Banks' "Big-Ass Filter" has over 90% more surface area than stock air filters so clogged filter issues will be a thing of the past. Filter Option
Choose between Oiled or Dry Filters for your Ram-Air system. Honestly, it's a matter of personal choice as both are easy to maintain when done properly. Dry filters need replacing more often than oiled as you can re-oil the oiled filters for repeated use. Both are effective at what you require most though and that's protecting your engine.
