Description

OTR-AC (MK-29, OSTARINE-O-ACETATE) Powder, 1grOTR AC (MK 29, OSTARINE O ACETATE) OTR AC, also known as MK 2866 Ester, is MK 2866 (Ostarine) that has undergone esterification (the process of combining an organic acid with an alcohol). This chemical process is used to maximize potency and extend the half life (the time required for a quantity to reduce to half of its initial value) of a substance. OTR-AC (MK-29, OSTARINE-O-ACETATE)

OTR-AC, also known as MK-2866 Ester, is MK-2866 (Ostarine) that has undergone esterification (the process of combining an organic acid with an alcohol). This chemical process is used to maximize potency and extend the half-life (the time required for a quantity to reduce to half of its initial value) of a substance. Due to this process, the ester version of ostarine has the capacity to remain bioactive ten times longer. This results in benefits such as reduced dosing frequency and more stable blood levels.

How OTR-AC Works
As the ester version of the selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) ostarine, OTR-AC is more potent and has longer-lasting effects. By binding to proteins in the body known as androgen receptors, it stimulates the formation of muscle tissue. This, in turn, leads to an increase in muscle mass and strength.

Research on OTR-AC
Increase in Muscle Mass and Strength
Studies suggest that OTR-AC, along with other SARMs, increases muscle mass and strength by stimulating the formation of muscle tissue:

  • In adult rats, the administration of SARMs, including OTR-AC, resulted in an increase in lean muscle mass and a decrease in body fat percentage.
  • In older male and female rats, OTR-AC administration resulted in increased lean muscle mass, decreased fat mass, and significant improvements in their ability to climb stairs.
  • Studies showed that OTR-AC may help increase muscle mass in rats with cancer cachexia (muscle wasting).
  • In older male and female rats, OTR-AC significantly improved total lean body mass and physical function.
  • In rats that had their ovaries surgically removed, OTR-AC improved muscle tissue.
  • In rats, OTR-AC increased muscle mass by enhancing the production of muscle cells.

Reduction of Body Fat
Aside from helping gain muscle mass, OTR-AC has also been found to reduce overall body fat:

  • In Phase I and II clinical trials, OTR-AC has demonstrated promising results in increasing total lean body mass, decreasing total tissue fat percentage, and enhancing functional performance.
  • A review of studies showed that OTR-AC can help increase lean body mass and reduce body fat in overweight rats.
  • In a phase 2a study, the administration of OTR-AC along with other SARMs resulted in increased lean fat mass and decreased body fat percentage.
  • In male rats, OTR-AC increased fat cell breakdown by improving lipid metabolism and affecting the release of adiponectin (a hormone that regulates fatty acid breakdown).

Improvement of Bone Health
Studies suggest that OTR-AC can help stimulate bone formation and protect against bone disorders:

  • In rats that had their ovaries surgically removed, OTR-AC administration resulted in improved bone healing.
  • In a rat model for aged male osteoporosis, both OTR-AC and testosterone treatments improved bone healing by increasing callus volume and area, bone volume and density, and bone width.
  • In a rat model of postmenopausal osteoporosis, high doses of OTR-AC for 5 weeks resulted in increased bone volume, density, and bone mineral density.

Reduction of Cholesterol Levels
Evidence suggests that OTR-AC can help lower cholesterol levels, especially low-density lipoprotein (bad cholesterol):

  • In older male and female rats, OTR-AC administration resulted in a significant reduction in low-density lipoprotein levels.
  • In rats that had their ovaries surgically removed, OTR-AC treatment reduced blood cholesterol levels.

This sticks to my Chrysler Pacifica!
I bought a new-to-me Chrysler Pacifica and of course wanted a phone holder or two for when my husband and I are travelling. I absolutely adore the car, but I've never had so much trouble finding a phone holder that would stick to the dash, no matter how thoroughly I cleaned it with alcohol! Finally found this one, but it only sticks if you do NOT activate the suction part. That pulls the sticky part off the dash. And it's not very attractive on top of the dash. I'm more concerned with function than appearance so I'm happy with it, and it works great. The phone stays put and stays charged, which is all I ask.

Imperfect, sometimes charging is unreliable, clamp needs power to work and annoyingly not auto
The build quality is great for the price. Like iOttie. The tech advancement is cool but it doesn't work very well which is a disappointment. It doesn't charge my phone very fast, because my phone is limited to 15 watt wireless charging, but it's great for preventing battery loss while using GPS. The button to manually clamp and unclamp are a little too hard to press, it flexes the whole holder, so you need to press with your whole hand supporting the holder. Sometimes my phone disconnects and reconnects randomly to this charger multiple times. Not sure if it's the charger or phone but that stinks . (I'm using an Anker 50w USB adapter for this wireless charger) The clamping is motorized which is cool, but it's honestly less reliable than a spring loaded clamp because it doesn't always auto clamp the phone. When this clamp is working properly it is great as it auto clamps onto a phone it's charging. But the issue is it doesn't always clamp. It sometimes thinks it's clamped, when it's not, so you have to press the manual activation button twice so the phone will be locked in place. It's hard to know when you need to press just once or twice. (The reason you press the button twice is if it thinks it's closed when it's actually open. Then you press first to "open" the clamp, even though it's already open, then press again to close it. But if it knows the correct clamp position already, and just refuses to auto clamp, you only press the button once. If you press twice, you will end up cancelling the clamp. It feels random and unpredictable what the correct action is) The clamping requires power which is another disadvantage to spring loaded hand clamps. But unclamping works without power due to a backup battery. (Powered clamping is still better than those manual squeeze clamps, which are finicky to get a strong enough clamp on the phone) I'm not sure how safe the battery is in a super hot car, like Florida heat. It seems fine for Pa heat.
