🌸 What's Actually In This Box — Flower Analysis & Breakdown

What flowers make up this collection?

The No Roses collection is built around a rotating seasonal variety of specialty blooms. Based on catalog images for this collection, here is the typical flower breakdown — each type plays a specific role in the graduation corsage and boutonniere design context.

🌸 Gerbera Daisies (Primary Focal Bloom)

Without roses in the mix, gerbera daisies carry primary focal responsibility in this collection. Gerberas appear in strong magenta, vibrant pink, and warm tones. For graduation corsage design, gerberas are outstanding: their flat, open face wires easily, they're lightweight on the wrist, and they photograph with excellent color saturation. Mini gerberas are a particularly popular boutonniere focal flower at high school prom.

🌷 Carnations (Volume & Color Filler)

Carnations — in soft pinks and warm tones — appear prominently in this collection as a high-value filler bloom. Carnations are among the most durable corsage flowers available: they hold moisture well, resist wilting longer than roses, and come in a wide natural color range. Individual carnation petals can also be used to build textured backing layers in corsage designs.

🌼 Spray Chrysanthemums (Multi-Use Filler & Focal)

Spray chrysanthemums appear in white, yellow, and purple tones in this collection. Each spray chrysanthemum stem carries multiple bloom heads, giving designers excellent yield per stem. In graduation corsage work, individual mum heads are wired as accent blooms or used as petal backing; the full stems work beautifully in table centerpieces and stage arrangements.

🌸 Alstroemeria (Color Accent)

Alstroemeria adds streaked, multi-tonal petals to the mix — a natural complement to the structured look of gerberas and carnations. Lightweight and long-lasting, alstroemeria is a graduation florist staple for filling corsage gaps without adding bulk or weight.

🌿 Dusty Miller (Foliage Accent)

Dusty miller — with its distinctive silver-gray velvety leaves — appears as a foliage accent in this collection. In graduation corsage design, dusty miller adds a soft, elegant contrast to brightly colored focal blooms and provides a sophisticated backdrop that photographs as a silver-tone element in prom night portraits.

💜 Veronica / Spike Flowers (Vertical Texture)

Slender vertical spike flowers (veronica or similar) add height and texture contrast to bouquet compositions. In corsage design, small sections of veronica add a wispy, upward movement that gives otherwise round corsage designs a more dynamic, contemporary silhouette.

🔴 Hypericum Berries (Accent)

Red hypericum berries add clustered texture and warm jewel-tone accents — used as pin dots between florals or as a colorful filler element in corsages and boutonniere designs.

Important Note on Natural Variation

Fresh flowers are a living product. Exact bloom stage, color shade, and specific variety within each category may vary slightly by season and farm availability. When substitutions are needed, we match the overall palette, stem value, and design character of the collection — so your graduation florals always look intentional and cohesive.

🎓 How to Use These Flowers for Graduation & Prom

From corsages to ceremony stage — here's what you can do with this collection.

  • Non-rose graduation corsages: Gerbera and chrysanthemum corsages are increasingly the first choice for high school students who want something different from the traditional rose — and this collection delivers exactly that.
  • Budget-managed prom committee programs: The lower cost per bouquet vs. rose versions makes this the smart choice for committees with a fixed per-student flower budget.
  • Boutonniere programs for the full class: Carnations and gerberas cut beautifully into single-stem boutonnieres — the most efficient boutonniere supply in the Petite collection.
  • Graduation reception table arrangements: The seasonal variety creates full, colorful arrangements for graduation reception tables without the rose price.
  • Mixed graduation floral programs: Order alongside the rose version — offer graduating students a choice of rose or seasonal corsage, and cover both preferences from a single shipment.

Planning Guide by Graduation Size

  • Small class / intimate ceremony (under 80 graduates): 1–2 boxes covers personal flowers (corsages + boutonnieres) and basic table or stage arrangements.
  • Mid-size graduation (80–200 graduates): 3–5 boxes for full personal flowers, prom court flowers, and venue centerpieces across all tables.
  • Large high school or university graduation (200+ graduates): 6+ boxes for complete coverage — corsages, boutonnieres, stage focal pieces, entrance arches, and reception/after-prom décor.

For Moms Buying Individual Graduation Flowers

  • One box gives you far more than you need for a single corsage and boutonniere — consider coordinating with other prom families to split a box and share the savings.
  • If you need a single-stem graduation bouquet to present to your graduate, the stems in this collection condition beautifully into hand-tied bouquets with a simple tutorial.
✨ Why Florists & Graduation Committees Choose This Collection
  • Carnations outlast roses for graduation timing: For corsages designed 2 days before prom or graduation, carnations hold their appearance significantly longer than roses — critical for students who need corsages to survive a full evening.
  • Gerberas = easiest corsage flower to wire: The flat, disc-shaped gerbera face is the most straightforward focal flower for non-professional corsage designers — a major advantage for parent committees and moms designing at home.
  • Dusty miller adds instant elegance: The silver-gray foliage photographs as a neutral that makes any color florals pop — a professional-looking accent that requires no design experience.
  • Best cost-per-stem in the Petite line: Slightly lower per-bouquet cost than the rose version — more stems per dollar for graduation programs with fixed budgets.
  • School color flexibility: The seasonal variety palette naturally delivers a wider color range than rose-only collections — easier to match any school's graduation color scheme.

How to Choose the Right Configuration for Your Graduation Program

  • More stems / bouquet + fewer bouquets / box → More raw material per bunch. Best for professional florists designing intricate corsages, wired boutonnieres, and layered prom arrangements where stem flexibility matters.
  • Fewer stems / bouquet + more bouquets / box → More total units per box at a lower cost per unit. Best for parent committees ordering in quantity to manage per-student floral budgets.
  • 40 cm vs. 50 cm length → 50 cm gives you longer stems for wiring, corsage work, and tall centerpiece arrangements. 40 cm is ideal for compact table arrangements, bud vases, and small venue accent pieces.
  • Every box ships with a flower care guide and free overnight shipping to your door.
🌱 Flower Care for Graduation & Prom — Step by Step

Timing matters for graduation flowers. Follow this sequence for the best results:

  • Open the box immediately on arrival and remove all stems from packaging.
  • Strip any foliage below the waterline — clean water is essential for maximizing vase life.
  • Cut 1–2 inches off each stem at an angle and place in clean buckets with cool water and flower food.
  • Let flowers hydrate for at least 12–24 hours (overnight is ideal) before designing corsages, boutonnieres, or arrangements.
  • Change water daily and re-cut stems as needed throughout the design window.
  • Keep away from direct sun, heat vents, fans, and fruit — ethylene gas shortens bloom life significantly.

Graduation corsage & boutonniere timing: Condition flowers for 24–48 hours after arrival before designing. Complete corsage and boutonniere construction 1–2 days before graduation or prom night. Store finished pieces in a cool space (not freezing) — the warmest setting of a home refrigerator works well if a floral cooler isn't available. Avoid storing with fruits or vegetables.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions — Graduation & Prom Edition
Are non-rose corsages appropriate for high school prom?

Absolutely — and they're growing fast. Gerbera, chrysanthemum, and carnation corsages have become increasingly popular at high school prom and graduation events, especially for students whose school colors don't work with the standard rose palette. Pinterest and Instagram prom boards are full of non-rose corsage designs.

Which flowers in this collection last the longest for graduation corsages?

Carnations are the longevity champions — they hold their appearance for 5–7 days with proper conditioning. Chrysanthemums follow closely. Gerberas can soften faster, especially in heat, so condition them well and design day-of or the day before prom/graduation for best results.

Is this collection suitable for a parent committee designing corsages with no professional florist help?

Yes — this is actually the most beginner-friendly collection in the Petite line. Gerberas wire easily with no floral experience. Carnations and chrysanthemums are forgiving and can be bent and positioned without snapping. Many parent committees design successfully from this collection using basic YouTube corsage tutorials.

I'm a mom buying flowers for my child's graduation — can I order from here?

Absolutely. Our wholesale boxes are available to everyone — professional florists, floral designers, parent committees, and individual parents. You do not need a business license or florist certification to place an order. We ship farm-direct to your home, school, or shop.

How far in advance should I order for graduation?

Order at least 7–10 days before your graduation or prom event. This ensures you have enough time to receive the shipment, fully condition and hydrate the flowers (24–48 hours minimum), and complete all design work 1–2 days before the event without rushing. Last-minute orders risk compromised bloom quality.

Does this work for both high school prom and college graduation ceremonies?

Yes — this collection is used for high school prom corsages and boutonnieres, high school graduation ceremonies, college and university graduation receptions, and everything in between. The flowers don't know the occasion — the occasion is defined by your design and intention.

What if a specific flower in the box isn't available on my delivery date?

If any variety in the curated mix is unavailable at time of shipment, we substitute with a stem of equal or greater value that maintains the same color palette, bloom style, and design character. Your graduation flowers will always look cohesive and intentional.

💐 What Is the Petite Seasonal Bouquet No Roses Used For at Graduation & Prom?

The Petite No Roses Bouquet is the practical, budget-smart graduation flower supply — used by parent committees managing per-student corsage budgets, florists who want to offer a competitive graduation package at multiple price points, and moms who want the freshest possible corsage flowers for their child without paying florist retail markup. From high school prom to college graduation receptions, this collection delivers color, variety, and vase life at the most honest price per stem.

A Solution to Lapbook Problems
Style: Swivel Base, Color: Silver
This is the best product I have encountered in all my days of using a laptop. I use it with a wireless keyboard, and so the screen is up in my face where I can see it well, and the keyboard in down below where I can type easily without tiring my wrists. I am delighted with it all. The stand swivels, an advantage I was not expecting to care about, and find that I do. The swivel allows me to adjust to the incoming light for better vision. That might not make sense to users of lamps, but I have a skylight and so am accommodating to the sun all day long. The swivel changes everything. Another plus is how sturdy the stand is. I have no fears of it turning over or dumping the laptop into my lap. It is clearly there to stay, and yet if I need to move it, that is easily accomplished. I tuck the entire thing behind closed doors most of the time when it is not in use, and that leaves my work space neat and tidy. There is one final advantage. I am a coffee drinker, and I have always been worried about knocking my cup over into my computer. With the stand, my computer sits above the desk top where I put my coffee, and the keyboard is on s shell below and out of the way. I still prefer to drink rather than knock over my coffee, but, hey, why not have a measure of safety also. I give this product a 10 star review if there is such a thing. It has been a real game changer for me, and now I am not regretting not purchasing a desktop machine. My laptop is absolutely perfect with this stand, and has the advantage that it goes with me when I travel. Bettie Banks

Great Stand for retina Macbook Pro 15" but one thing you have to be careful about! NEW USERS/BUYERS BEWARE!
Style: Swivel Base, Color: Silver
Great stand as other reviewers have noted. The laptop runs cooler, the ergonomics for working are much better.... I just wish ONE thing for this stand. I wish the latch that holds the computer at the bottom trackpad area (meaning the two protruding feet on the stand that are holding your laptop in place right by the trackpad) had a bit more height to it. I have noticed my laptop is almost flush with the feet of the stand, which looks nice design-wise, but makes it a bit less-than-secure. A few times, I thought I put my laptop on the stand securely, but found that a small bump would almost make the laptop slide down off that latch, meaning I did not put my laptop securely onto the stand and into the latch after all. Thank goodness I saved my Mac right before the it fell and got any damage those few times. I have one of the latest generations of the retina Macbook Pro 15", which means my computer is thus relatively thin (meaning that the height of the laptop when fully closed, from the bottom of the case to the top of the case, is really short). So if I am having trouble with it, I bet older generations of Macbook Pros that are a bit thicker, or any other laptops that are thicker, might have the same issues I have. Computers that are thin like the Macbook Air probably do not have much issue. But now that I am aware of the issue, I double-check to make sure that the latch is securely holding the laptop when placing it on the stand, so it is not that big of a problem to deal with--just NEW USERS/BUYERS PLEASE BEWARE SO YOU MAKE SURE YOUR LAPTOP DOESN'T SLIDE OFF!

Looks improved!
Style: Swivel Base, Color: Silver, Style: Swivel Base, Color: Silver
Bought this model originally in 2016 and it has held up quite well. Decided to get a newer one since some of the product images appeared to indicate some changes had been made. - the center opening with the logo is larger, better for airflow. - the circle pads on the top are also larger. - the front lip has been simplified using less materials, good choice. - the bottom bearings are noticeably smoother and quieter. Great attention to detail I think. I prefer the 360 spinning version after trying the standard one. The ability to rotate the stand is just so convenient. This is my favorite aluminum stand on here and now it’s even better! See photos and video for comparison. Old model on left.

Functional, durable, and color-matching stand for MacBook Pro
Style: Swivel Base, Color: Space Gray
I recently purchased this stand for my MacBook Pro and I am extremely pleased with my purchase. The design of the stand is a perfect match for my MacBook Pro, it looks great and it fits perfectly. The stand is made of durable materials and it feels very sturdy and stable, perfect for keeping on your desk. One of the features that I appreciate the most is that it allows me to rotate my MacBook Pro 360 degrees, which is extremely convenient when I am in a meeting and need to show something on my screen to someone else. The stand also has a non-slip rubber base which provides a stable and secure grip on any surface. Additionally, the color space gray is exactly the same as the MacBook Pro, which makes it seamlessly integrate with the overall design. Even though it is not lightweight to carry around, it is designed to be kept on your desk, which makes it perfect for a workstation. In summary, I highly recommend this stand for MacBook Pro to anyone looking for a functional and durable stand that allows to rotate the screen, perfect to keep on your workstation and with a color that integrates seamlessly with the MacBook Pro.

Loved it so much I bought a second one!
Style: Swivel Base, Color: Space Gray
I have two of these bad boys: one at the office and one at home, and I've used them for a couple of years now. I love them. I pair it with a separate Bluetooth keyboard on the desk, and I can't imagine doing computer work without it anymore. Being able to elevate the screen transforms my laptop into a small PC, and I love being able to swivel it around to show a coworker what I'm working on or to just glance at the screen real quick if I'm up walking around. I've never had any stability issues with these. So long as you put it on a level surface, I think you'll be fine. The mStand360 is badass.
