ARTIST BIO

David Flores started illustrating for skate, surf and snow boards at the age of 17. Flores briefly worked for Shortys Skateboards as a freelance Illustrator during those early years he would become internationally published in the pages of Transworld Skateboarding for his illustration of the Black Panthers skate bearing logo by the age of 20. He also contributed to many other companies such as Real, Stereo, Thunder, Doh Doh, BlackMagic, Anti-Hero, Powell/Peralta, Spitfire Wheels and Lucky Bearings.  This career path would last up until the late 90's generating a mass amount of art and graphics that are still used to this day, ending at Deluxe Distribution by 2001.

In the early millennium, Flores began to design and produce limited edition vinyl toys, limited edition T-shirts with the RedFive Collective and paintings with the use of a new style coined "Stained Glass" by the artist himself. "An instant hit with the global urban art community" especially in Japan, where his style is well respected and received. More toys, clothing and projects would soon follow. "Giants" a series of paintings witch depicted giant robots ravishing the city of San Francisco would launch Flores into Urban Arts Stardom. A recent collaborative toy and household wares project was Dfworks Bearbrick and Fabrick with Medicom Toy, in the Aoyama district of Tokyo . Flores has also participated in other commercial collaborations with Disney for Block28, Stussy, Oakley Sunglasses with a limited release in Japan, snowboard projects with M3, a rendition of Speedy Gonzalez with Warner Brothers, pro series shoe with DC* Shoes, toys with Xlarge, Kidrobot, Delabarracuda LA, House of Pain, Remix Revista of Argentina, Chouette Luxury of Hong Kong, and Simpsons limited edition sneakers with Vans where he was illustrated as a "Simpsons" character himself by Matt Groening. His most recent collaborations are with Flip Skateboards, Medicom, and Akomplice Clothing. Flores explains that he "just wanted to produce a body of work that was aesthetically pleasing with respect and nod to artists, explorers and influential people of the past and present."  In addition, Flores has reworked other familiar icons such as Disney's Mickey Mouse, Thumper (both released as Vinyl Toys), the Michelin Man, Donald Duck, Mario Bros., and Homer Simpson, as well as having work hang and shown on MTV's Fantasy Factory and having his Kidrobot Dunny's Inducted into the MOMA NYC's Permanent Collection.

Through all of his projects, Flores has successfully blurred the line between fine art and commercial merchandise. He uses his particular style to allow ordinary imagery to infiltrate the global stage. The artist is currently collaborating with both the commercial and fine art communities. Recent exhibitions include a solo show at Gallery1988 (2004), Another Fine Mess (2011), Suede Gallery and LA Destroyers (Nike) events. Most recently, Flores has been busy solidifying himself as one of the world's top muralists with large scale paintings of his imagery in the streets of Los Angeles, with plans to further demonstrate mural efforts internationally as well.

Great product

This is a lifesaver. My lab will chase the ball all day and this saves the arms and shoulders. A little bit of a learning curve to use but I would definitely recommend

Labs love this!!!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Our Lab LOVES everything about this thing! Recommend getting extra durable balls as the 1 included fell apart in 1 hour. I have a very energetic Lab retriever that we have to force to stop playing ball so he does not overheat. That & the force with which you can throw this ball did not help keeping it from splitting it in 2 in less than 1 hour. This is worth the money for the extra throwing power & distance but do invest in the ULTRA strong ball for dogs like retrievers! Also, be sure to order the correct SIZE OF BALL, specific to each different size of throwing wand. My fav thing about this item is #1 the joy my dog gets from the new challenge of racing to catch longer throws, & #2 I don't have to get my hands covered in dog slobber!! He has gotten to where he can almost put it in the cup himself so I won't waste time throwing the ball again! Man, I love that dog!!! ❤️

Must-Have for Active Dogs!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
The Chuckit Sport 26L Dog Ball Launcher has been a game-changer for my large dog! My 80-pound Labrador loves to play fetch, and this launcher makes it so much easier and more enjoyable for both of us. The 26” length gives me the leverage to throw the ball much farther than I could by hand, which really helps burn off my dog’s energy. The included large ball (3”) is the perfect size for big dogs, and I appreciate that it’s made from durable rubber, so it withstands a lot of chewing and rough play. What I really love is that the launcher is so lightweight and easy to use. I can play fetch with my dog for extended periods without my arm getting tired. The ergonomic handle also provides a comfortable grip, which is a nice touch. If you have a large, active dog, the Chuckit Sport 26L is a must-have. It’s well-made, durable, and makes fetch more fun for both you and your dog. Highly recommend!

ChuckIt is AMAZING!
Style: Sport, Size: Large
I can't throw a ball to save my soul. Just got this today and lobbed a ball to the far end of my 1- acre yard. The dog loves it, and I love it!

I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy
Style: Sport, Size: Large
Helpful for throwing as much as my dog wants to fetch. I actually had to get a cortisone injection in my shoulder a few months after getting my dog - never had a dog with this much energy before! The Chuckit really helps. Downside: The ball that comes with it is larger than a tennis ball, so may be too much for smaller doge. I can't imagine my sister-in-law's french bulldog carrying it! Also, in our house it gets destroyed within minutes, as my dog is a strong chewer. For this situation, I recommend using the KONG Extreme Dog Toy, Black, size Large. This is shaped sort of like a snowman, which means it bounces unpredictably at times. My dog eventually chews the "head" off of this toy, but the remaining 2/3 still fits in the Chuckit (and is actually easier to throw with the "head" missing!). One caveat: the KONG is significantly heavier than the ball included with the Chuckit, so be aware of that... Also, we ordered our first Chickit in October 2015, then needed to replace it in May of 2017, as it broke. I think the plastic became brittle over that time, as we left it out in the sun & rain in Florida. Since it is cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. (We ordered three Kong toys over that same period of time!) To summarize, it's a very helpful tool to get the ball further, faster, with less strain, than without it. Knowing there are alternatives to the included ball for heavy chewers makes it worthwhile.
