This Alastair Gibson and Carbon Art 45 sculpture is a smaller version of the original carbon dory sculpture which was produced from a commission by the Drang Gallery in Padstow, Cornwall, the UK home of the John Dory fish. It moves away from the usual fast streamlined fish that I sculpt and shows the stylish details of this ancient oceanic creature.

Sculpture limited to ninety two pieces per colour option.

Body: Carbon fibre, 2 ply/layers 2 x 2 twill 200 gsm with UV resistant purple tinted gloss coating.

Dorsal and underside fins: 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel.

Tail and Pectoral fins: 0.5 mm photo etched stainless steel.

Marking detail: Silver vinyl transfer.

Mounting base and rod: Mounted on a black coated wooden base with a dog ring from a modern Formula One GP car and stainless steel rod. *

Mounting methods: Desk mounted.

Dimensions: L 140 mm W 30 mm H 370 mm on base.
