ARIES 3" round side bars are also available in polished stainless steel or semi-gloss black powder-coated steel. All ARIES 3" nerf bars come with heavy-duty steel brackets and non-skid step pads. The mounting brackets are strong and custom-designed for specific makes and models to allow the side bars to contour to the lines of your vehicle. They offer easy installation and the strength necessary to provide sound footing. These particular custom nerf bars fit specific years of the Chevy Blazer FS, C1500, C2500, C3500, K1500, K2500, K3500 or Tahoe and GMC C1500, C2500, C3500, K1500, K2500, K3500 or Yukon (see application info to verify fitment). ARIES 3" round side bars also come with non-skid step pads made of tough polypropylene. These step pads feature a textured pattern for enhanced safety, and they cover a wide portion of the tubes for a more comfortable step.

Quality Assurance Lacking

The first set I ordered was great; super easy to install, no issues. The second set I ordered the holes on the bottom of the shelves did not match up with the holes on the bar that secures the shelves to the wall so it was impossible to attach the shelves correctly. I'm still trying to figure out a solution.

Great sturdy shelf, install can be a bit challenging

The shelf is great and does exactly what I wanted it to do. I will note that the instructions indicate you’re supposed to use a 6 mm drillbit to install the anchors which comes out to about a 15/64 size. I would recommend a quarter inch drillbit because I was really struggling to get those anchors in there.
Several folks also said that it’s easiest to install with two people, but you don’t need two people if you have some way to prop the piece up while you’re marking the hole placements to drill (and I would definitely recommend having a level on it the entire time you’re working to make sure that it’s correct).
Lastly, it is easiest to put it together first, and then mark the drill holes, put the piece aside and drill and install the anchors, and then screw it in. I will also caution folks to not overtighten the pipe connections, because the pipes will end up in a wonky direction in the end.
Overall I am extremely happy with this piece and certainly for the price!!
