The 3M Aqua-Pure AP717, Replacement Cartridge Kit, for CFS717, 55602-22, is designed for reliable performance, easy installation, and dependable operation in commercial or residential applications.
The Aqua-Pure AP717 cartridge is a triple-action in-line filter, removing sediment, chlorine taste/odor, and hard-water scale. Used primarily to pre-filter water feeding ice-makers, if features an in-line design for fast and easy replacement. The AP717 filter is the perfect in-line water filtration solution when a refrigerator does not have a pre-existing water filter.
The filter has a 1/4" inlet/outlet connection, a flow rate of up to 0.5 gpm, and a 1500-gallon capacity. The system uses specially formulated activated carbon and progressively porous media for effective filtration down to 5 microns nominal.
This in-line filtering system can also be used as a pre-filter for drinking fountains, coffee machines, and drink dispensers.
