In this 5 hour class, you will learn how to use the Tiffany method of foiling, gain guided experience with soldering technique, how to frame with lead came, and how to properly clean and polish stained glass. Each student will receive and work with a pre-cut and ground glass kit of the design pictured. All materials are included.
At the beginning of class, we will cover best safety practices working with stained glass, and briefly cover the tools and materials you will be using before diving in.
This class will take place at Swoon City. Our address is 1716 NW Market Street, Seattle, WA 98107. It's at the intersection of 17th and NW Market Street - kitty corner from Mighty-O Donuts.
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before class begins.
This class has a 5 day cancellation policy. After that time, no exchanges are issued out of respect for our teachers who purchase and prepare supplies based on the number of attendees. We do not offer refunds for classes.
Our current masking protocol is that anyone attending an event can email us at [email protected] to let us know they prefer that people wear masks up to 72 hours before the event begins. Your request is anonymous to all the other participants.
Attendees will receive an email before the class to let them know If we will be requiring masks.
About the Instructor
William Reichle is a stained glass artist and traveling instructor. He has introduced over 600 people to the joy of creating with stained glass through his satellite workshops. He looks forward to continuing sharing his passion for this craft with more people and empowering others to create with this fascinating medium.
