Aside from the hand assembled CNC steel frames and USA made seals, the SideskinsLITEkit features the OG MAGconnect system for holding the uppers doors tightly to the Generals roll cage.  We are the original creators of the awesome MAGconnect system and it cannot be beat! Our team has tirelessly tested the 2 door system at speeds above 80mph such as open towing, with great success. Many of our G2 customers routinely open tow above 80mph without concern. OG SideskinsLITE hard upper doors are a rugged,  lightweight, high-value option in our top-shelf Sideskins product line-up.

What began as a means to better enclose our Polaris General with automotive like action, we created an alternative upper door to replace the ill-fitting, cheaply made, and hassle-prone wire frame canvas soft upper doors. The OGSideskinsLITE. 

The original Sideskins hard upper doors have mostly become what the SideskinsLITE version is today.  Boasting a weight efficient design, shatter resistant polycarbonate windows, and a unique mounting system, there is nothing else like it on the market.

The OG team conducted countless brainstorming sessions to develop a comprehensive upper door design layout. Suddenly, an epiphany struck... We can create a crazy good design using innovative construction techniques and top-tier equipment resulting in a product we can be proud of.

The SideskinsLITE feature a robust 3D profile frame system, standard polycarbonate windows in clear or tinted, and a built-in lower accessory panel that has spawned a new line of accessories with innovative features such as the DuoVent wing venting upgrade. We offer the OG Sideskins LITE as an easy on/off rigid upper door system featuring static non-opening polycarbonate windows.

There have been several breakthroughs over the course of development such as the remarkable mechanism for automatically fastening the upper doors at the top to secure them to the roll cage. The MAGconnect magnet units eliminate the need for unsightly straps, snaps, tape, hook and loop fasteners, bungees and manual latches. In addition, our unique on/off system is like no other, featuring stainless steel mounting brackets and a simple locking mechanism to quickly add or remove the LITEs as needed. 

Compatibility:

2018+ Polaris General 4 door models. Note: 2016-17 models require additional hardware kit #OGHM-1617-AD-G4. Generals with the Polaris Tip-Out windshield require the OG extended stud kit #OGXT-10M8-SS and recessed front MAGconnect bracket set.

Goals!

After countless hours of researching, inspecting, and even purchasing various soft upper door options, our family never installed any of them. All of the products appear to have quality & fitment issues across the board. Cost, quality, fit, finish, value, and the decision to drill into the door panels, causing a permanent change to your ride have motivated our team to build better.

After getting through multiple winter seasons with no upper doors, we decided that enough was enough. OnlyGenerals has created a top-of-the-line HARD upper door system that fits great, looks great, and fills market gaps with amazing value. We have revolutionized the riding experience by offering a premium built upper door that General owners can take pride in owning and showing off!

The OG Sideskins product lineup was conceived, and we soon realized the need for a tiered product catalog to serve everyone's needs. SideskinsLITE is the starting point for this product lineup. Our team is working on creating a wide range of bolt-on add-on features and accessories that will enable you to customize your upper door setup.

However, due to variations in build quality on the Polaris General platform, adjusting and fine-tuning the OG SideskinsLITE upper doors & Polaris lower doors may be necessary for proper alignment.

The OG Guarantee:

We offer a one-year warranty against manufacturer defects on the OG Sideskins LITE. This warranty does not cover any damages caused by normal wear and tear, accidents, improper installation, or unapproved customer modifications. Any claims made outside the 365-day warranty period will not be covered. That being said, we are committed to standing behind our products and customers. We'll always do our utmost to assist with any issues or concerns you may have.
