As with all lawrenceana the flower shape is poor, with floppy petals, and the most attractive part of the flower is the tubular dark purple lip. This cultivar of aurantiaca is a tetraploid, and the flowers are fuller and have heavier substance than diploid forms. The offspring mostly will be triploids. Plants will grow well
