All-around breathing support with NAC, quercetin, ivy, and boswellia

NutraBio Lungs is a no-stim formula for breathing support that smartly hits multiple angles to make airways feel more comfortable and tough. It mixes a solid mucus-thinner base with plant compounds, bronchial herbs, and a specific postbiotic to help with easier breaths, clearer paths, and less inflammation. This is great for athletes pushing hard, folks in dry spots or dealing with seasonal junk, or anyone wanting daily lung help without caffeine or stuff that knocks you out.

The main player is N-Acetyl Cysteine at 600mg, which is on the lower side of what works for breathing in studies. NAC gives your body cysteine to make glutathione, its top inside antioxidant, and it thins mucus by breaking bonds in proteins. Basically, it's what helps you feel that clearer chest and deeper breaths. At 600mg, it's a real dose that matches typical supplement plans for this.

Quercetin comes in at 500mg, a big dose on its own and spot-on for what studies use for inflammation and heart health stuff. It works as a flavonoid that fights oxidation and keeps inflammation in check. The research is decent, with 500mg a day showing real effects in people, and athlete studies at 1,000mg hinting at help with upper breathing stress after killer workouts. Here at 500mg, it's not maxed out for infection fights, but it's plenty for everyday use.

Immuno LP-20 at 50mg brings a cool twist. This is a heat-killed Lactobacillus plantarum ingredient, which means the inten

Key Highlights

  • 600mg NAC — a solid dose for breathing help that boosts glutathione and thins mucus. This one's super practical because it tackles oxidation and clears airways instead of just covering up issues with herbs.
  • 500mg Quercetin — a full-on flavonoid dose, not just a dash. Studies back 500mg a day for inflammation help, and higher doses in athlete research show it can ease upper breathing strain during heavy training.
  • 50mg Immuno LP-20 — a specific heat-killed Lactobacillus plantarum pick for immune signals, not filler. It adds a mucosal and immune boost that most lung supps skip.
  • 300mg Thyme Extract — a go-to herb for bronchial ease and helping airways clear productively. It makes this formula way more useful for when you feel dry, irritated, or stuffed up, not just a basic wellness pill.
  • 200mg Ivy Leaf Extract — a classic for airway and mucus support. Teamed with NAC and thyme, it builds a better bronchial setup than supps that stick to one trick.
  • 200mg Boswellia serrata extract standardized to 65% boswellic acids — a strong anti-inflammation add that's better than what's in cheap breathing products. The standardization is key since boswellic acids are what make boswellia work.
  • 100mg Coleus forskohlii standardized to 10% forskolin — here for cAMP breathing support and bronchodilation. With 10mg forskolin, it's helpful without overdoing it, adding a nice extra layer.
  • No-stim capsules — no caffeine kick, no harsh start, no stim hangover messing with sleep. Easy to add to your day with pre-workouts, coffee, or night routines without trade-offs.

Who Is This For?

  • Runners, cyclists, rowers, or conditioning fans doing steady high-breath work who want support matching that ventilation stress. NAC at 600mg, quercetin at 500mg, and thyme-ivy make it smarter than basic immune pills for keeping breathing comfy and airways strong.
  • Weightlifters and cross-trainers in dry gyms, chalky spots, or cold weather where airways get irritated mid-set. It helps mucus balance, oxidation control, and bronchial ease without stims that mess with recovery or zzz's.
  • Folks with seasonal breathing annoyances wanting real ingredients over just vitamin C and zinc. Quercetin, boswellia, thyme, and ivy give it a focused breathing vibe, not generic immune.
  • Busy workers in AC offices, travelers noticing tighter breathing in stress. Capsules are simple daily, supporting breathing-immune without powders or stim drinks.
  • Athletes easing back into cardio post-break who need airway comfort while rebuilding. Great if chest buildup, throat itch, or off breathing hits when restarting intervals or long sessions.
  • Health fans after no-stim, multi-angle stuff beyond solo NAC. Adding boswellia, ivy, thyme, quercetin, and LP-20 makes it fuller for broader thinking.

How to Use

Take 3 capsules daily to hit the full serving and keep the breathing ingredients steady. If you're new to NAC or strong herbs, start with 1-2 for a few days to check stomach vibes, then go full. Fine with or without food, but with a meal is comfier if NAC, boswellia, or extracts bother you. On gym days, 30-60 minutes before cardio or lifting works if you want it synced, but daily beats timing. No stims, so it pairs with coffee, pre-workout, electrolytes, creatine, fish oil, and multis. Don't swap it for prescribed breathing meds, and check with doc if on blood pressure stuff, thinners, or flavonoid-affected drugs. No need to cycle like high-stim pre's; it's for ongoing use. Keep it cool, dry, lid tight for fresh capsules.

What to Expect

Right off, most won't feel a big hit since it's no-stim capsules for real support, not a buzz. In the first hours, some notice easier chest or clearer feel from NAC-thyme-ivy, but it's often subtle at first. Over 3-7 days, it starts feeling like less airway irritation and heaviness. By 2-4 weeks, steady use shines: breaths feel cleaner, congestion's easier, and training in dry or seasonal stuff bothers less. Quercetin and boswellia really kick in longer-term for inflammation and oxidation control. Judge it by a month's worth of workouts and daily feels, not quick minutes.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does NutraBio Lungs actually do?

NutraBio Lungs is a daily respiratory support formula designed to support clearer airways, better mucus handling, healthier inflammatory balance, and mucosal immune resilience. The core ingredients are NAC at 600mg, quercetin at 500mg, thyme extract at 300mg, ivy extract at 200mg, boswellia extract at 200mg standardized to 65% boswellic acids, Immuno LP-20 at 50mg, and coleus forskohlii at 100mg standardized to 10% forskolin.

How much NAC is in NutraBio Lungs per serving?

Each full serving of 3 capsules provides 600mg of N-Acetyl Cysteine. That is a meaningful daily respiratory support dose and one of the formula’s most important actives for glutathione support and mucus-thinning effects.

Is 500mg of quercetin a real dose or just label dressing?

500mg is a legitimate standalone quercetin dose. Human data has used 500mg/day in inflammatory contexts, and meta-analytic evidence suggests effects on blood pressure tend to show up more clearly above 500mg/day, though response varies by individual.

Does NutraBio Lungs contain caffeine or stimulants?

No. This is a completely stim-free capsule formula, so it can be used alongside coffee, pre-workout, or in the evening without the stimulant burden or sleep disruption associated with caffeine-based products.

How long does NutraBio Lungs take to work?

Some users notice subtler airway comfort or chest-clearing support early on, especially from NAC, thyme, and ivy, but this formula is best judged over consistent daily use. Most of the value shows up across 2-4 weeks as inflammatory tone, mucus handling, and overall breathing comfort improve.

Can I stack NutraBio Lungs with a pre-workout?

Yes. Because it contains no caffeine or classic performance stimulants, it stacks cleanly with most pre-workouts. In fact, many users pair it with their normal training supplements because its respiratory support role is different from nitric oxide, energy, or strength formulas.

Is this product mainly for athletes or for everyday wellness?

Both. Athletes benefit from the respiratory and oxidative-stress support during hard training, while general wellness users benefit from the same formula in dry air, seasonal transitions, travel, and daily life. The ingredient design is broad enough to serve either use case well.

What makes the thyme and ivy combination important?

Thyme and ivy are classic airway-support botanicals often used together for bronchial comfort and productive clearance. In this formula, they complement NAC’s mucus-thinning action and help make the product feel like a true respiratory support blend rather than just an antioxidant formula.

Do I need to cycle NutraBio Lungs?

There is no stimulant tolerance issue here, so there is no obvious reason to cycle it in the way you would cycle a high-stim pre-workout. This formula makes the most sense as a consistent daily product, especially if your goal is ongoing airway and respiratory support.

Should I take NutraBio Lungs with food?

You can take it with or without food, but taking it with a meal is often the better option for users who are sensitive to NAC or concentrated herbal extracts. If you have a strong stomach and want simple daily compliance, either approach can work.

Fun aquatic comic romp!
Format: Hardcover
Strange things are happening in Barnacle Bay! When Sashimi comes to shore, grabs a hoodie, and joins Miss Wilcox's classroom, the students ask a lot of questions, but don't get a lot of answers. Joey is assigned to show Shashimi around, but since he is new himself and a target of Billy's bullying, he's reluctant to be seen with a bug eyed student who sweats a lot. This, of course, is how Sashimi, who is really a fish boy, breathes. While he's living in the school and talking to Kevin, the class goldfish, he feels like he should investigate the Beast of Barnacle Bay, since there is a huge festival surrounding the creature. He has a bad experience at a grocery store with some high octane sugar soda and is kicked out after he goes nuts; Billy is there and takes him home to meet his grandfather. Poopdeck Pete is obsessed with the Beast, and gives tours of the bay. Sashimi tells Joey the truth after an incident where Sashimi tries to flush himself down the toilet: he is a fish boy and was chased ashore by Joey's grandfather, and has been living in the school. After meeting with Ben at the local history museum, Sashimi decides to enter the contest to catch the Beast, since there's a $10,000 prize. There is all kinds of drama in the community's participation in this, but in the end, Sashimi donates one of his own scales to the museum, and is rewarded with $500. He donates this money to the school, where budget cuts have been rife, and settles into life in Barnacle Bay. Poopdeck Pete's boat tours experience a resurgence with the interest in the creature, so Joey is happy as well. More adventures, perhaps ones including the very suspiciously damp Ben, are heading to shore. Santat's illustrations are always a delight, and he brings Sashimi to life in an engaging way. There's even an informational diagram of how Sashimi breathes; of course, there are extra laughs since he is depicted in tighty whities! The use of the hood to hide his more defining aquatic features is inspired, since young readers these days live in hoodies, often (to my chagrin) with the hoods up. Santat must have a deep and abiding interest in the sea, since his 2022 Aquanaut also involves ocean life living on land. Sashimi is much happier and less traumatic than that graphic novel! Sashimi gets himself involved in many ridiculous situations, which makes this a perfect book for older readers (who pretend to be too sophisticated for jokes about Poopdeck Pete) to read to younger ones. Sashimi gets revenge on Billy in a spitball fight, he has a massive sugar buzz and subsequent crash, and we get snarky but informative inserts about what a poop deck is named that and how Sashimi is able to live on land. The illustration style is colorful and unique, and will appeal to older readers who have been raised on Santat's picture books like Are We There Yet, Beekle, and After the Fall. Dav Pilkey gets a shout-out in the dedication, which makes perfect sense, since readers of Captain Underpants and Dogman will be thrilled with Sashimi's odd adventures. Santat worked with Tom Angleberger on Princess Pit Stop, and must have absorbed some of Angleberger's Two-Headed Chicken Energy. I'm looking forward to the further adventures of this intrepid fish boy, and hope that he and Joey are able to calm Billy down quite a bit and can continue to support their struggling school. The box that the publisher sent with the ARC was delightful, and contained a helpful water bottle (so Sashimi can keep breathing), a sticker, poster, and small container of "fish flakes" that I have on good authority actually contains Swedish fish candy!

Things I’d prefer my children not repeat.
Format: Hardcover
My kids found it entertaining, but as a parent I was not thrilled with all the “poop” and “fart” jokes, as well as characters belittling and calling each other “stupid” and “butthead.”

Funny and clever
Format: Hardcover
Sashimi, a fish boy, is trying to find someone just like him. Instead he finds unlikely friends. The book is very funny and clever with just the right sense of humor for kids 2-100. I won my copy from a Goodreads giveaway. I will be sharing my copy with my grandchildren who will fall in love with Sashimi, too.
