Overview: The Harlequin Tusk is a strikingly beautiful and vibrant fish known for its vivid blue, orange, and white stripes that adorn its body. Its most distinctive feature is its set of sharp, tusk-like teeth, visible even when its mouth is closed. This species is a captivating addition to any saltwater aquarium, bringing a splash of color and personality.

Origin: Native to the Western Pacific Ocean, particularly around Australia, the Harlequin Tusk thrives in coral reef environments. It is often found lurking around caves and rubble, hunting for its next meal.

Feeding: Carnivorous by nature, the Harlequin Tusk's diet should include a variety of meaty foods. Offer frozen or live foods such as shrimp, squid, and small fish. A balanced diet is crucial for maintaining its vibrant colors and overall health.

Tank Mates: Choosing the right tank mates is essential. Suitable companions include larger, peaceful to semi-aggressive species that can hold their own. Avoid small, timid fish that the Tusk might bully or eat. Good choices include tangs, large angels, and some types of triggerfish.

Aggression: The Harlequin Tusk shows a moderate level of aggression, especially towards smaller, more docile fish. It's generally reef-safe but may snack on small crustaceans. Ensure ample space and hiding spots to minimize territorial disputes.

Experience Level: Intermediate to Advanced. While not the most challenging species to keep, the Harlequin Tusk requires a stable, well-maintained aquarium and a diet that meets its specific needs. Not recommended for beginners.

Water Parameters: Maintain high water quality with temperatures ranging from 22°C to 26°C (72°F to 79°F), a pH of 8.1 to 8.4, and a specific gravity of 1.020-1.025. Regular water changes and monitoring are essential to keep these parameters stable.

Conclusion: The Harlequin Tusk is a mesmerizing addition to any suitable marine aquarium. Its care requires a committed aquarist ready to meet its needs for diet, tank environment, and compatible tank mates. With proper care, this species will thrive and become a show-stopping centerpiece of your aquarium.

Awesome price for quality balls
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (ball only)
These balls are super bouncy and durable. My dog loves them and for the price these are totally worth it! I think they are as durable as nerf balls and equal in size, and much cheaper!

Rope comes out at the slightest force. Pointless tug toy!
Color: Four colors, Size: 6cm (with rope)
If your dog pulls on these (and why wouldn’t he?), the rope immediately comes out. Turns out they just fuse the ends of the nylon rope together, which is no match for a dog playing tug. Any dog, any level of pulling will dismantle these. We’ve managed to reinsert the rope to a couple of these and KNOT it, which gives you a shorter rope but a toy that can withstand some play. But if I had wanted a DIY toy, I’d have used the balls and rope I already own.

Not for super chewers!
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (with rope), Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (with rope)
These rope ball toys arrived today. My poodle puppy loves rope ball toys and playing tug of war. These didn’t last 10 minutes. For context, she is 1 y.o., 30 lbs., is not teething & has her adult teeth. She did this on her own- we were not playing tug of war at the time the toy fell apart. At least there are 3 more in the package & when the rope is done, we’ll still have the balls to play with.

Fun, Durable Balls for smaller heavy chewers
Color: Four colors, Size: 5cm (ball only)
Perfect size and strength for my small dog that is a heavy chewer! She hasn’t been able to destroy and chew up this one like she has with every other toy! Definitely chew resistant.
