  • AUTO-SHUT OFF FLOAT VALVE – AquaticLife Float Valve Kit for RO and RO/DI units will allow your reverse osmosis system to automatically turn on and off. It includes the necessary RO auto shut-off valves and tubing.
  • FILL TANKS, CONTAINERS, AND AQUARIUMS – This auto-fill float valve kit allows you to fill large tanks, containers, and aquariums automatically. Float fill valves are simple to install and can save a lot of water.
  • CONNECTS TO MOST RO & RO/DI UNITS – The water float valve connects directly to existing RO and RO/DI units. The ¼” Press Fittings work with standard reverse osmosis tubing.
  • KIT INCLUDES – If you’re using this kit with a reverse osmosis or RO/DI system, you WILL NOT need any other components. Kit includes an auto-shut off float valve, check valve, tubing, ½” FPT to Press-Fit adapter.

Works with RO & RO/DI Systems

Use the Float Valve Kit with RO and RO/DI systems to automatically shut-off the water when a storage container is full.

Auto Shutoff Solenoid (ASO)

Inside the ASO is a bladder that expands when the float valve shuts off the filtered water line. The bladder then stops the incoming supply water, so the RO waste water does not continue to flow.

Check Valve

The Check Valve must be used with the ASO to ensure the water flows in the correct direction and the ASO shuts off the water. Follow the plumbing diagram included.


Easy Container Installation

Simply drill a 7/8" hole in your water collection container and secure the float with the included fittings. The float will not top off the actual aquarium or sump, but is designed to work with a storage container such as a salt mixing barrel.

Expect Vibrations

As the ASO builds-up pressure to shut-off the incoming water supply, it is normal for the connected 1/4" tubing to vibrate and make noise. Once the ASO shuts off, the vibration stops.

Adjustable Float

Use the adjustment know on the side of the float arm to ensure the float shuts off at the proper water height.

Sturdy, Be mindful if a few things in advance

Good quality. The black pipe compliments our decorating style so we are over all pleased. Be mindful of the following: - Needs a little bit of expertise in making sure all the flanges line up and are level/plumb. - Even if/when you pre assemble tubing according to printed instructions, the shelving won't line up and some connection parts will have to be loosened to line up. - I consider us (me & the hubs) little above average when it comes to DIY but this took some figuring out and cooperation during installation because we decided to align the holes on the flanges up with our studs to enforce the holding strength (for weight of books and family photo albums/picture boxes). This choice was prompted by the poor quality of plastic drywall anchors included with the product. Now that I have installed one, I will customize next time with more height (to accommodate taller children's books that don't fit the current set up) and a bit deeper (to accommodate a 12 inch shelf/wood insert). Aesthetically, it will not accommodate a book taller than about 9 inches. Our photo albums range up to 15 inches and because the shelving depth from back wall to front of wood shelf is about 12 inches, it hangs over the front too much to look balanced. With the current set up, I'm limited with what can be placed on the shelves - size wise. While this does not have anything to do with the quality of the product, you may not know to consider these aspects in advance so thats why I include it in my review.
