This adapter is designed to connect a trailer equipped with an EZ Connector male plug to a vehicle's legacy RV 7 Way connector mounted on a truck that has not yet been converted to the EZ Connector System. It is meant to be used in the event of an emergency or short term use
EZ Female to 7-Way Male (R7-05A) Is an interim solution due to logistic issues of the EZR7 -51 adapter for converting a EZ male plug mounted on a trailer to a 7-way RV male plug.
This adapter is designed to connect a trailer equipped with an EZ Connector male plug to a vehicle's legacy RV 7-Way connector mounted on a truck that has not yet been converted to the EZ Connector System. It is meant to be used in the event of an emergency or short term use if the trailer needs to be pulled by a truck without the EZ Connector system.
It is recommended that the user check that if the EZ female socket is affixed to the tongue of the trailer use of a bungee cord or other method to ensure the connection between the RV plug and socket does not disengage. As with all the adapters, please understand that your connection will only be as good as that provided by the legacy system and not that of the EZ Connector system.
