HEL-STAR 6® SWIR contains four user-defined functions in two selectable operating modes in virtually any combination of white, green, red, blue and two independent IR wavelengths, including three SWIR options. Each function is user-defined in either steady, flashing or IFF coded operation.
Field reprogramming option is available upon request. Requires the purchase of a Programming Interface Module (PIM).
- Spectrum Options - Visible (White, Green, Red, Blue), NIR (890nm) and SWIR (1064nm, 1300nm or 1550nm)
- Safety - Unique battery access design provides a snag-free profile on all sides. Primary Velcro® attachment provides emergency peel-away to reduce potential for injury.
- Visibility - Omni-directional. Intensities can be scaled up or down for special requirements. White flash exceeds FAA 3-statute mile parachuting requirement.
- Simple, Secure Operation - Switches are designed for positive operation by a gloved-hand, in the blind, with the helmet donned. Mode selection switch design options provide operational flexibility or strong security between overt and covert operating modes.
- Operating Extremes - HEL-STAR 6® SWIR is shock and vibration resistant, dustproof and open sea waterproof to 130 fsw (laboratory 300+ feet). Optional screw closure for battery door is available for diving operations. Every unit is waterproof tested at final inspection—without screw closure.
- Operating Status Awareness - Switch design provides visual and tactile confirmation of ON/OFF and operating status with no guesswork; visual confirmation prevents inadvertent battery discharge in the IR operating mode.
- Versatility - “Attach Patch” series of secure helmet, MOLLE, and equipment attachment means including self-adhesive, sew-on, tie-down, and loop-around.
- Battery - The single CR123 cell can be replaced in the field.
- Field Reprogramming - Color/spectrum flash rate, and light intensity can be reprogrammed with a wireless handheld device (PIM). A default feature returns the unit back to original factory settings.

This glitter is gorgeous on.
Really easy to apply, sprays evenly and a good amount at once. It wasn’t a nightmare to deal with either clinging to things it fell/rubbed onto which I was pleasantly surprised by. It cleans up very well.
A little goes a long way too, so it should last a while. It stayed on my body fairly well throughout the night too.
I have really sensitive skin so I was hesitant to even get glitter at all. I tried body glitter 2 years ago but it was a liquid spray kind and I broke out in an intense rash all over.
I also have a chronic hive condition so my skin flares up from products due to sensitivity.
I did not have ANY issues with this glitter.

Absolutely Stunning Glitter with Thoughtful Packaging! | Rainy Rainbow

This glitter is breathtaking! The sparkles catch the light very beautifully — it has a mesmerizing, holographic shine that’s perfect for adding extra pizzazz to any project.
When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised at how well it was packaged. The box was securely sealed, and everything inside was perfectly intact—minor spills, no mess.
A heads up on opening the entire thing: the round container’s Lid is screwed on VERY LOOSELY. Be mindful when you’re unboxing. Screw it back on very tightly.
The spray nozzle on this bottle gives such a beautiful, antique perfume vibe—it really elevates the whole experience. It sprays the glitter perfectly, so it’s easy to get a flawless application every time. (Don’t forget to keep the little nozzle cover to protect it!) Honestly, I wouldn’t apply it any other way than with the bottle—it just makes everything so much smoother. 🤷🏻♀️
If you happen to go overboard, just grab the closest shirt and wipe off any excess. No point in wasting any of this stuff! :)
Oh, & those two little gloss bottles are actually glue, which is perfect for keeping everything right where you need it to be.
Here’s a little pro tip: I used the same tape that kept the box sealed to reseal the lid of the round glitter container until I’m ready to use it.
Worked like a charm! 😎 It’s a small detail, but it will keep everything neat, and prevent unwanted glitter explosions in the future.
If you’re a sparkle lover, you’ll adore this glitter—it’s as pretty in person as it looks online!

Very good. Gave off a good purple shimmer but not too chunky. Definitely would our have again. Got for a Halloween trick or treat to go with my Ariel costume and it was perfect. Not sticky or anything. Sprays just like a perfume and dries quickly. Does transfer but still a very good product. Not a strong smell either. Definitely worth the amount of money. Does wash off very easily as well.
