Three patterns are available, a combo/driving pattern, a spot pattern, and a flood/work light pattern. The S2 is designed, engineered, manufactured, and built in California and backed by Baja Designs' limited lifetime warranty. If you are looking for the smallest and brightest LED light on the market then the S2 is for you!
Lights sold individually. Wiring harness sold separately. AVAILABLE LIGHT PATTERNS:
- Driving/Combo Maximum trail coverage in a single light. The Driving/Combo pattern is equipped with both Driving (42°) and spot (9°) optics to provide you with a smooth blend of light for both near field applications and distance (Lighting Zone 3)
- Wide Cornering: BD was the first to develop a pattern specifically for cornering, dust and/or fog conditions. The Wide Driving pattern offers a 42° flattened horizontal beam for the ultimate in comfort lighting. (Lighting Zones 1 2)
- Spot: A longer and narrower 9° beam focus for illumination further down the trail or road. The Spot pattern is designed to be used in conjunction with additional Wide Driving and/or Driving/Combo beam lights. (Lighting Zone 4 5)
- Flood: Excellent work light or "scene light" with an extremely smooth 60° circle that projects about 40ft. This pattern is not suitable for driving. (Lighting Zone 7)

I would not recommend if you can afford something more expensive
So far the sublimated color is not true: (example) the pretty pink comes out as orange on both polyester fabric and wooden coaster using the only three setting on the printer: paper, photo glossy, photo matt. There is no “presentation” setting for the excellent color I had on the Epson ET-2800 (which I would NOT recommend for durability nor Epson’s customer service!).
I purchased Epson, again, ONLY because I could not afford other sublimation printers and this one had the best reviews of what I could find. But Epson has its customers held hostage by way of the ink. IF YOU USE ANY BRAND SUBLIMATION INK OTHER THAN EPSON, THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WARRANTY. And Epson ink is EXPENSIVE (“average” is ~ $0.55/print based on 200 pages/bottle) when compared to the brand offered on Amazon as a substitute.
So I’d recommend buying the Assurion coverage if you plan to use sublimation ink other than Epson. That is the ONLY thing that saved me when the ET-2800 went Caput (twice!). (The last time it was trashed, so Assurion refunded the original purchase price—within the mfr warranty time which Epson refused to honor.)

Get’s the job done.
It works good. It didn't come with a cord or clear instructions on how to use it. I used my cord from my printer to get it started. I would have sent it back but you can't once you add ink.

Works great as advertised

Working great so far! Enjoying starting doing sublimation work. A rookie a few weeks in and it's going well.
Print quality is decent. Not having paper jam issues. Was easy to setup.
I had to goto Epson and download a current print driver to get all the print properties and printer settings I needed. Was easy. After I installed the 2nd driver and saw it worked better, then I uninstalled the 1st epson driver. Helped allow for 8.5 x 14 page size and high quality. Just a few options needed that were not showing on the original print driver. Took me a few days to figure out what was going on. It helped with the quality of the prints after I got the better driver. So the end product is better also.

Prints great, wifi was an issue

Got the printer a week ago and have printed something every day so far and the quality of the prints have been fantastic. Arrived and set up without any major issues, other than not being able to connect to my local wifi. Had to get an Ethernet cable to connect to it.
