Master Complex Contours with the Freud 50-509 Top and Bottom Bearing Flush Trim Router Bit

Achieve unparalleled versatility in your workshop with the Freud 50-509 Top & Bottom Bearing Flush Trim Bit. This industrial-grade tool is the ultimate solution for professional template routing and pattern work, featuring dual bearings that allow you to choose the cutting direction that best suits your grain orientation. Whether you are trimming plastic laminates on high-end countertops or duplicating intricate furniture parts, the 3/4" diameter and 1-5/8" carbide height provide the stability and reach necessary for deep, clean, and burn-free cuts every time.

Engineered for maximum efficiency, this bit allows you to rout complex curves by working half the piece in one direction, flipping the workpiece, and finishing the second half without ever moving your template. This unique "top and bottom" design eliminates grain tear-out and ensures a mirror-smooth finish on hardwoods, softwoods, and veneered plywoods. Compatible with hand-held routers, laminate trimmers, and table-mounted setups, the Freud 50-509 is a high-performance necessity for solid surface fabrication and precision cabinetry.

Key Features

  • Dual Bearing Versatility: Features both top and bottom ball bearings for flexible template placement either above or below the workpiece.
  • Eliminate Grain Tear-Out: Easily flip workpieces to rout with the grain for a superior, chip-free finish on complex curves.
  • TiCo Hi-Density Carbide: Specially formulated carbide provides a sharper edge and significantly longer cutting life.
  • Perma-SHIELD® Coating: Non-stick coating reduces friction, heat buildup, and resin "pitch" for smoother operation.
  • Wide Material Range: Precision-balanced to cut hardwoods, softwoods, plastic laminates, and veneered plywoods with industrial accuracy.

Narrow
Size: 11, Color: A-dark Brown
They seem well made - but they are narrow - my feet are too wide to fit into these. Much narrower than a normal shoe of the same size

Comfort meets fashion
Size: 9, Color: A-dark Brown
I have owned a million pairs of shoes. And I am truly a rarely viewer, but these shoes are an unquestionable five stars.,These are perfect summer loafers. They fit like a glove, but do not fit tight. It is literally like walking on air and the inside is completely cushioned so you can comfortably wear without socks. They are good for dress or casual, but I like them best with jeans. They’re so comfortable I could sleep in them. Forgot price… reasonable too!

Well Made - But Feet Beware - Not Slip Ons Due to Highish Type Sides and Longish Tongue
Size: 10.5, Color: A-dark Brown
Very well made but not casual slip ons for my feet at least for the following reason : the sides are high: about .5 of an inch higher than a lot of models of driving shoes or casual 'slip ons' and the tongue of the shoe is about.3 of an inch longer : the combination makes these not slip ons for my foot with a 10.5 regular as we have to work your foot into these - which is not a Slip On.... at least not for me. A classic slip on whether a moccasin or a driver shoe is lower on the sides and does not have a pronounced long tongue... That being said, these do appear to be genuine leather and well made. They would be good for an extra pair of casual indoor loafers if your feet fits the pattern. The leather is soft and likely to stretch FYI. A good reason shoe stores still exist : try on the merch first as all feet are different. Happily Amazon accommodates quick returns so no worries and not being critical here- just informative

Borderline Fraud: A Profound Waste of Money
Size: 11, Color: A-black
The shoe pictured and the shoe delivered may as well be from another planet. Pictured is a fairly nice, well constructed shoe made of what appears to be leather or a high quality leather substitute. Delivered was a flimsy shoe made of plasticky vinyl with a sole constructed of grainy rubber blocks individually and sloppily glued without care to the bottom of the shoe, also vinyl with an eight of an inch of the same grainy rubber coating it, offering no solidity or support. Having been worn a total of one day, the majority of which was spent seated at a desk, the vinyl has already crumpled into unattractive wrinkles and creases that resemble nothing so much as a cheap vinyl table covering wadded up and stretched back out. Taking the shoes off resulted in both insoles clinging to my socks and coming fully out of the shoe. I would also mention that the shoe runs large, but I that would indicate that you should use my experience as a buying guide, when nothing could be further from the case. Buy these shoes only if you enjoy being ripped off, pouring money down the drain, or perhaps if you are looking for a gift for a person you despise. Outside of these possibilities, I advise you to run, far and immediately. You certainly won't be able to run anywhere with these on.
