Idols marks Yungblud’s most ambitious statement to date. Created over four years in Leeds, close to where Dominic Harrison grew up, the double album is shaped by introspection, theatrical rock ambition, and a refusal to be boxed in. The first half, now available, features 12 tracks including the singles “Hello Heaven, Hello,” “Lovesick Lullaby,” and “Zombie.”

Rather than chasing hits, Yungblud built Idols as a cohesive world, driven by emotion and a desire to reclaim self-worth. He calls it “a love letter to self-reclamation, to rock music, to life in all its madness.” The album examines identity and masculinity with striking honesty, threading Britpop influences—Oasis, The Verve, Primal Scream—through a lens that also draws on Bowie’s reinvention and Madonna’s pop instincts.

Idols signals a shift not just in sound, but in intention. Raw, reflective, and defiantly personal, it sets the stage for a new chapter as Yungblud heads out on a North American and European tour this fall.
