An onboard video reference generator eliminates the need for expensive external devices. Sync X can receive video reference as well, with automatic format detection for maximum efficiency. You also get a 10MHz input for connecting to high-end atomic master clocks, streamlined multi-operator workflows, a high-resolution front-panel OLED screen, and easy configuration directly from within Pro Tools. Its master oscillator runs at 100MHz — a double-resolution implementation that's really impressed us. It locks on at twice the speed of a standard JetPLL-based clock, and it's twice as accurate!
Keeps your entire system in sync
Avid Pro Tools | Sync X makes synchronizing all your digital devices effortless. It's compatible with all industry-standard clock sources, including word clock, loop sync, and AES3, along with positional reference formats, such as LTC, serial timecode, and bi-phase/tach. It also supports SD and HD reference formats and video pull-up/pull-down rates. What's more, six word clock outputs make synchronizing Sync X to Pro Tools interfaces and devices a piece of cake. Sync X can also lock onto a high-end atomic master clock via a 10MHz input, and it can send and receive AES3 or AES3id signals to and from supported devices.

Its built-in video reference generator includes four outputs for distributing signals to your peripherals.
