The May 18, 1968 Miami Pop Festival was the first major rock festival staged on the East Coast. The Experience were in the midst of recording Electric Ladyland when they were offered the headline status by promoter Michael Lang [who would promote the Woodstock festival a year later]. Their two electrifying sets have never been released and make their debut here as part of this album. THE Jimi Hendrix Experience: MIAMI POP FESTIVAL introduces the first recorded stage performances of "Hear My Train a Comin" and "Tax Free" while showcasing definitive live takes on such classics as "Fire, " "Hey Joe, " "I Don't Live Today" and "Purple Haze". The package includes never before published photos taken at the festival and an essay by award-winning music journalist and Grammy Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli. This album includes the show as originally recorded on site by Hendrixs long term sound engineer, Eddie Kramer.

Soft, Warm, lightweight, Cozy

When I first received this blanket I washed it by itself in cold water with detergent. I did not use a fabric softener or a fabric sheet. I air dried it completely and then put it in my dryer on air fluff for 10 minutes. No shedding and it came out just like I received it. I was concerned about shedding with some of the reviews but I had no issues with that whatsoever. It's warm yet lightweight. I didn't want anything that would make me overly hot because I'm always hot anyway. It takes that cool edge off when you still want your overhead fan on. My daughter said she likes it better than the one she has. I can't remember the brand. I feel it has a good quality. Just make note to wash it as instructed and it'll hold up well and look just as nice as the way you bought it. I'm not sure how the other reviewers that didn't leave 5 stars washed there's, but it couldn't have been the correct way.
