Use your cooling system to heat your UTV's cab! From the original designer of the Firestorm UTV Cab Heaters comes our new and improved Ice Crusher Compact UTV Heaters. What makes our heaters better, if not the best, is that you are dealing with the designer/manufacturer and most of the kits have been installed by us and fitment checked. We use modern automotive quality vents- not something that looks like is was made in the 50's, so they match the modern styling of your UTV. Most of our kits use custom made solid CNC machined Y connection fittings, so there is no chance of leaking welds. We endeavor to use quality parts and hardware in all our kits. 
 
This Ice Crusher Under Dash Heater (Behind Dash Out of Sight) kit comes with 6 vents and comes with a compact yet powerful heater with a three speed fan which will deliver heat from the 14,600 BTU* Compact Heater Unit. Modern automotive quality adjustable louvers direct the heat were you need it. Two 2” vents mount on top of the dash to defrost the windshield, two 2” vents mount in the lower dash panel to warm the feet and two 3" vents mount in the center/mid dash area. Kits are supplied with custom CNC made alloy Y connectors (Our MaxStat not required for this kit but recomended). Kits also include custom mounting brackets, heater hoses and duct hoses, EZ-Coils (used to stop the hoses from kinking), hose clamps, vents, hole saws (for the heater hoses and vents), grommets, shut off valve (others don't bother to supply this item), switch, wiring loom with  terminals included, templates, your specific mounting bracket with hardware, and instructions.  Note: Does not work with factory wipers, although the wipers can be switched to the other side making room for the heater.
 
    
 

Ice Crusher MaxStat - Inline Coolant Bypass Thermostat for UTV Heaters

  • The MaxStat directs all engine coolant to your Ice Crusher Cab Heater, this means that the output of your heater will be at its maximum. If there is heat in your cooling system then you will have heat from your Ice Crusher Cab Heater. More heat means a warmer cab and in turn a warmer you!
  • MaxStat only opens to let coolant flow though the radiator when the cooling system requires it to keep the UTV engine at an optimal temperature.  Look in the pics for a diagram showing how this option works and keeps you warmer in the winter, and your machine cooler in the summer.
*Heater BTU# output is theoretical and is dependent on the coolant temperature of the UTV and the flow rate of the coolant, which varies by UTV and engine RPM. Outside (ambient) temperature the UTV is being operated in also can change heater output. That being said these 14,600 BTU Heater Units are more that capable of heating 99.99% of all UTV's

#British Thermal Unit (BTU or Btu) is a traditional unit of work needed to raise the temperature of one pound of water by one degree Fahrenheit. One four-inch wooden kitchen match consumed completely generates approximately 1 BTU.

Electrical items are not returnable. Any electrical returns MUST be authorized on a case by case basis or they will be refused. No returns considered after 30 days. What do you do, when your only viable financial prospects are to move to even more remote, cold, dark and desolate land where you are part of a corporate mining operation dredging sands for valuable resources, living onsite in a company owned dormitory? Beaton recalls all this in her memoir of her post-university time, where she was faced with this decision to either live and work the oil sands, or face a life of financial bondage trying to pay back student loans, a decision we see many of her own countrymen face as their only viable means to survive. If you are familiar with Beaton's comic strip work, you'll see familiar reference to the genesis of it here, but Ducks is a far more serious graphic novel. Both engaging and often times bleak, Ducks gives a wonderful window into the reality of Canada's oil industry, and the humanity of the people, who are nothing more than cogs in a machine, that run it.

This is for anyone who interested in the process of sequential art, creating comics, characters, connecting with creative elements, it’s also a visually stunning book (again, the nerd in me, loved all the cross-references with the visual and other, using calligraphic and other historic, formal art elements along with the more personal character, visual creations and exercises. Thought-provoking and image inducing, indeed!

So if you wish you could go move to Wisconsin and take her class like I do, instead just save the planet the extra greenhouse gases and get this book instead and do the class at your kitchen table with your friends!!!
