One of our most "heavenly" Burmese jadeite pendants,  monkey, peach and lotus carved pendant with precious green veins to highlight.  This pendant is 3-D, 38 mm x 23 mm x 12.5 mm thick.  Monkey is symbol of "cleverness", peach is symbol of immortality, long and happy life, and lotus is symbol of perfection and purity in heart and mind, also symbol of Buddhism.  It is attached to red silk cord with jade bead accent and tied at each end.

This is the kind of jade that has precious color.  Experienced jade carvers spend time to decide what to carve and how to use this expensive jadeite to its best advantage.  Then the jade carver chooses an auspicious day to to do the carving. It was purchased during our shopping trip to China near the Burma border in 2003 directly from the jade carver.  Genuine and natural grade A Burmese jadeite, vintage "old mine" jadeite rarely available today.
