  • B-Lite offers adjusted horticultural spectrum in HID grow lamps. the lamps are made to assure consistency in quality and optimized for high performance. Caution: Follow all local regulations for proper lamp disposal. Lamps used beyond their recommended life are more prone to bursting and can cause serious injury. Lamps can burst if misused. Make sure your lamps do not come in contact with moisture, and check for damage in the glass. Proper eye protection needs to be used at all times as intense UV light can cause permanent damage to the eyes. Do not use HID lamps near flammable items like fabric or paper as flash fires can occur. HID lamps operate at high temperatures and can cause severe burns if used improperly. Always ensure the end wires are straight when installing a new lamp. Always use gloves to keep lamp glass clean from dirt and oils. Always ensure the fixture is unplugged before installing your lamps. Never operate a lamp above or below its rated current or voltage. WARNING! The materials inside the inner glass envelope are the salts that compromise the proprietary gas chemistry in SupremeLux Lamps. These salts usually burn off after a seasoning / break in period of approx 100 hours. A slight pulsating of the lamp is common until the lamp is fully seasoned. After this period, your lamp will be operating at it's optimal performance. Double ended metal halide lamps are not designed to be run for 24 hours a day. This will shorten the lifespan of the lamp. R - NON SELF-EXTINGUISHING LAMP WARNING: This lamp can cause serious skin burn and eye inflammation from shortwave ultraviolet radiation if outer envelope of the lamp is broken or punctured. Do not use where people will remain for more than a few minutes unless adequate shielding or other safety precautions are used.     My Great Dane/Boxer mix LOVES this toy. She is over 100 lbs and very strong. She got a hold of my son's real football last year and after she made the initial holes and deflated it we just let her have it. I'll try to get a picture of her with it and load it. I highly recommend this toy. We ordered the Large size, by the way. :-) 2-6-2015 - Update: I am just now ordering a new one. For nearly 4 years, the old one has been kept outside in the rain, sun, snow, and ice. She still loves to grab it, shake it, throw it up in the air and play tug with whenever she's outside. The rubber is just now starting to crack so it's time for a new one.

    A few weeks ago I ordered three dog toys for my dogs. I have a German shepherd, Lab mix and a medium mix. The latter boy is the biggest destroyer in our family, he chewed pieces of a black Kong. I did not really have high hopes for this football shaped toy with holes, but it is holding up beyond my expectations. You can see some teeth marks, but they are not chewing it up (yet?). They love to play tug with this, kick it around by themselves, or lie down with it and chew on it. I like it because it is a soft rubber and doesn't make so much noise when they throw it around on my hard flooring. For the price, they are definitely getting a whole lot of fun out of it. Edit: Now, more than a month later, my dog managed to get a small piece off after a heavy chew session. After that first piece apparently it is easy to get more off, and he wants to swallow it so the ball is in the trash.
