The integrated 1.25x teleconverter extends the 300-800mm focal length to an equivalent 375-1000mm range, making subjects appear like they're at your fingertips. A bright, maximum aperture across the entire zoom range produces images with high edge-to-edge resolution and clarity. The lens is compatible with the optional MC-14 1.4x and MC-20 2.0x teleconverters for even greater range. Continuous f/4.5 through the zoom range, f/5.6 with built-in teleconverter applied. Up to 8 EV steps image stabilization enables sharp telephoto images handheld. Z Coating Nano minimizes lens flare and ghosting for improved contrast and color fidelity. The focus range limiter allows controlled focus ranges for faster focusing. L-Fn function switch for lens-based activation of select preset settings modes.
