The rim is made from a boiled wool knit that has an encased thin elastic. The lining is a preshrunk 100% black cotton flannel which makes the hat both a cozy feel and eliminates hat hair, due to the natural choice of materials. I have hand embroidered one of the panels with wool yarn a simple design.

There is a small flat 2 hole button on the very top of the beanie.This rim can be rolled up like this, or you can give the beanie a slouchy look by rolling the rim down.
