Although he is now mostly associated with his spying and scouting of Canaan, Joshua had already proven himself in military matters; assembling a Jewish militia which won a decisive victory against agitators.Most of F. B. Meyers biography is concerned with Joshua's important role in establishing the first kingdom of the Jews. The sights and sounds he had encountered before and after his crossing of the River Jordan, and his discovery that Canaan was indeed a suitable place for permanent settlement, are discussed. Once the lands are settled, Joshua's award of an Ephraimite city, and his maturity in old age spent governing the fledgling province, are told.
The author quotes the scripture regularly in his accounts, and portrays Joshua's human characteristics. We are immersed in the politics and circumstances of the time, that we better understand the personalities and motivations of this early era. F. B. Meyer also draws upon analyses of other theologians and writers, together with poetry, such that his biographic accounts are enriched.

My Rottweiler puppies love these bones. I feel good about letting them play with these and not worry they will break or that they can choke because they are durable and a good size and weight. I like the variety and can put peanut butter on the crevices if I want to give as a treat. Worth the money!

Great for our puppy

This chew toy has quickly become our puppy’s absolute favorite. She’s just starting to teethe, and keeping her busy and comfortable has definitely been a challenge, but this ring has been a lifesaver. She was interested in it right away and keeps coming back to it on her own, which is a huge win. The chicken flavor seems to really hold her attention, and it gives her something appropriate to chew instead of everything else.
It’s the perfect size for a very young puppy and easy for her to hold and gnaw on without getting frustrated. It keeps her occupied, helps soothe her gums, and gives us a much-needed break during those teething moments. If you have a puppy just starting the teething phase and need something safe, durable, and engaging, this is an excellent choice and one I’d happily buy again.

Everything a Teething Puppy Could Need — Well-Thought-Out Kit

The Nylabone New Puppy Starter Kit is a solid all-in-one solution for the first few months of puppy ownership. It comes with multiple chew toys and bones designed specifically for teething puppies, and my little one took to them right away. The variety keeps him engaged, and I appreciate that each item is designed to be gentle on developing teeth while still satisfying his urge to chew.
What differentiates this kit from other puppy chew sets on Amazon is the thoughtful selection of textures and shapes. It’s clear these toys are designed to stimulate gums, promote healthy chewing habits, and even support dental care. I also like that everything is non-toxic and durable enough to survive a few enthusiastic chews.
The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is that the kit might be a bit small for larger breeds, or for puppies that are particularly aggressive chewers. But for standard small to medium pups, it’s a fantastic starter kit that keeps both puppy and owner happy.
