I personally pick all my materials from op-shops, second hand stores, markets, and online vintage fabric groups. I make my own patterns and everything is sewn and constructed by hand, by me, to a ridiculous and meticulous standard, and it's just so cool to have you here, to share the fun and beauty of these amazing upcycled materials!

This is attractive and sturdy, and tall enough that my cat cannot get over it as long as there is no furniture nearby that she can launch herself from, which is why I got it. The bamboo is tightly woven, she can't get her nails into it. I installed some brass drawer pulls in strategic places so I can grab them to move the folding screens in different positions, depending on where I don't want my cat to go.
