Which Way To Leave? is the latest record by Stockholm based musician John Chantler. The self-reflexive sequencing that tracks the sub-harmonic series in the opening blast of "Falling Forward" positions the record as Chantler's most explicitly melodic. These melodies however do not exist in a mono-dimensional vacuum, rather they co-exist in a meshed framework of dynamic layers of timbre. The record's abrupt cuts, deft variations of density and unexpected diversions are happily explored with head-long dives into ravishing texture and extended stretches of surface stasis. The music draws on a domestic reimagining of the traditions of studio based electronic music/musique concrete and 20th century minimalism and delivers this with brash revitalized energy. Born out of his relocation to Stockholm, following an extended period in London, Which Way To Leave? bares the marks of senses attuned to new environments and spaces. Recorded for the most part at Chantler's home studio, additional material was recorded at Elektronmusikstudion (EMS). It features guest appearances by Carina Thorén (For Barry Ray) and cellist Okkyung Lee. Still Light, Outside his fourth LP released in 2015 is an extended suite that combines passages of stark minimalism centered at the bodily invasive extremes of the pipe organ's register with striking explosions of color; massed chords shot through with heavy distortion and electronics that operate according to their own dream logic. It was described as "strikingly beautiful" by The Guardian. Chantler's three previous LPs were all released on Room 40. Even Clean Hands Damage the Work (RM 459LP, 2014) included the first output from his time at EMS. It followed The Luminous Ground - released in 2011 and was included in The Wire magazine's top releases of that year. The Luminous Ground was his first LP release focusing on the modular synthesizer system he first explored as part of the trio LP with Lawrence English and Tujiko Noriko.

Best sunscreen ever
Set name: Face - 1.7 oz.
I love how light it is, it doesn’t leave a white cast. It even leaves skin looking glowy. It also feels moisturizing. I have sensitive skin that breaks out with sunscreen. It doesn’t breakout with this one! I also love that it’s hsa eligible! Have already recommended and shared with others. I will never switch to another sunscreen.

Works great but very runny
Set name: Face - 1.7 oz.
I’d call this a liquid and not lotion. It literally pours out of the tube without even squeezing so has to be held upright at all times when the cap is off. Makes a real mess (and I do shake it well before opening as the instructions say).
Other than the packaging, I really like the product. It blends well with no white cast after rubbing in, is moisturizing without looking greasy at all or causing breakouts, and has provided good sun protection. Impressed! Also like that while water and sweatproof, it washes off with a gentle face cleanser at the end of the day unlike some of the zinc-based products I’ve tried that leave a thick coating and require scrubbing.
This is my first Blue Lizard product and I’ll probably keep using it as a daily sunscreen—but definitely not to throw in a bag and take to the beach because of the messy application. Bought the stick version to try out.

Great for sensitive skin and actually dries clear!
Set name: Body - 3 oz., Set name: Body - 3 oz.
I'm trying to be on top of my sunscreen application after YEARS of never wearing it. My skin is extremely sensitive and prone to eczema. Any chemical sunscreen that was applied to my body (especially the elbow/knee pits) would cause me to break out in horrible eczema patches. I switched to mineral sunscreen, but everything left a ghostly white sheen.
Luckily, this sunscreen does exactly as advertised. I've been using it daily for a week straight, and I have had no problems with it. The consistency of this product is thick, kinda sticky at first, and a bit hard to blend/spread out, but I think that's bound to happen with any sunscreen that's actually protective. It may also seem that it leaves a white cast initially, but after letting it dry for a minute or two, it becomes clear.
Overall I can't recommend this enough, and I'm glad to finally have a sensitive-skin-friendly mineral sunscreen that doesn't leave a white cast :)

Where has this been my whole life
Set name: Face - 1.7 oz., Set name: Face - 1.7 oz.
Let me give you some background. I’m middle eastern. That means I tan well but have two different skin tones; my January skin and my July skin. I wear a watch and I’ve been out of the sun since September. My tan hasn’t totally faded but the lighter band, that’s my real skin color. That’s how I want to be all over.
I always try to make better choices in my skin products. I have tried so many mineral based sunscreens for my face and body but I usually end up returning to a chemical based one for several reasons.
HOWEVER, I have finally found the product I’ve been searching for. Blue Lizard leaves no white cast on my skin. It’s easy to rub in. It also does not get trapped in my dense, black eyebrows the way other products did. It would gross me out and look like I had flakes in my eyebrows. I just spent the week at Universal Studios and I did not burn. I didn’t tan either, which is great. Tanning is also a sign of sun damage. Chemical or mineral sunscreens often prevent sunburn but I still tan. I don’t want either. I am sold and will continue to buy this product. I feel great about that it has safer and better quality ingredients.

Works well but oily.
Set name: Face - 1.7 oz.
This works well but is not ideal if you want to wear under makeup. It has a very oily consistency. Price is good.
