Instead of 8" this bait is just a tiny bit under 5". This bait excels so much with the smallmouth you might forget it is a great largemouth bait too!

Note: This 3:16 Gizzard Shad alternative is one of the baits with our newest color pattern the Smitty G Shad. The Smitty G Shad is a much more involved pattern to create. The holographic you see is actually done with a very fine holographic powder which must be applied at a specific time in a very specific process. We believe the results absolutely justify the extra work involved. One thing that an artificial bait can have a harder time with is mimicking the realism of a live baitfish. We believe this holographic powder helps achieve that. When the bait is moving through the water the flash is always just a little different much like what you would expect from a live baitfish.
