Six Questions Your Parisi Speed School Franchise Business Plan Must Answer

We developed this sports training franchise business plan in Microsoft Word using our own independent research into the youth athletic training business model. All six chapters are pre-populated with data specific to opening and operating a performance training center, and every section is fully editable. The financial model projects revenue growing from $600,000 in year one to over $1.3 million by year five, with a projected breakeven in just 6 months.

1. What is the core business opportunity?

The plan outlines the opportunity to launch a franchised youth athletic training facility that meets the strong local demand for science-backed performance coaching and injury prevention programs, establishing a premium, community-focused brand in a high-income territory.

Key Success Factors

  • Delivering scientifically proven speed and agility training for elite youth athletes.
  • Focusing on injury prevention to attract parents concerned with long-term athletic health.
  • Creating a high-energy, professional atmosphere in a state-of-the-art facility.
[dynamic_pic9]

2. What products and services will the unit offer?

The franchise unit will generate revenue through a mix of recurring memberships, team contracts, and specialized, short-term clinics, creating a balanced and predictable income model.

Primary Revenue Streams

  • Membership Fees: Projected to generate $250,000 in the first year from individual athletes.
  • Club Contracts: B2B partnerships with local sports organizations, starting at $100,000 in year one.
  • Speed Clinics: High-visibility, short-term training events starting with $50,000 in initial revenue.
[dynamic_pic10]

3. Who are the target customers and how big is the market?

The primary customers are elite youth athletes, their high-income parents who invest in athletic development, and local sports organizations seeking professional training partners in a competitive youth sports market.

Local Market Focus

  • Targeting aspiring athletes in high-demand sports like soccer, football, and volleyball.
  • Engaging parents in affluent communities who prioritize specialized coaching for their children.
  • Securing contracts with local club teams and school athletic programs for off-season training.
[dynamic_pic11]

4. How will the franchise unit attract and retain customers?

The unit will use a multi-channel approach focused on direct B2B outreach to sports clubs, high-visibility 'Speed Clinics' to drive trial, and a consistent local marketing presence to build brand awareness and drive enrollment.

Customer Acquisition Strategy

  • Leveraging a strategic location near major sports complexes for high visibility and foot traffic.
  • Executing direct outreach to club directors and school coaches to secure team contracts.
  • Budgeting $800 per month for targeted local marketing and community engagement initiatives.
[dynamic_pic12]

5. Who will manage the facility and what is the staffing plan?

The unit will be led by an experienced Facility Manager, supported by a Head Performance Coach and a team of certified trainers, ensuring consistent delivery of the franchise's high standards for athletic performance coaching.

Core Opening Team

  • Facility Manager: One full-time manager with an annual salary of $68,000 to oversee all operations.
  • Head Performance Coach: One full-time lead coach at $58,000 to manage training quality.
  • Speed Trainers: An initial team of 2.5 full-time equivalent trainers to lead sessions.
[dynamic_pic13]

6. What are the key financial metrics and funding requirements?

The business requires an initial investment for the franchise fee, leasehold improvements, and equipment, totaling over $200,000. The financial model projects the unit to break even in 6 months, achieve payback in 3 years, and generate $112,000 in EBITDA in its first year of operation.

a great guide to DC treasures
Format: Flexibound
This is not a guide book in terms of giving you directions and hours of operation, but it would be a wonderful first step in planning a memorable trip to the nation's capitol. Nineteen themed trails are given, seven in and around the Mall, six nearby, two across the Potomac and two farther afield. Themes include animals (Rock Creek Park, National Zoo, the George Washington University hippo (statue), the National Museum of Natural History, Owney the stuffed dog at the National Postal Museum, Oxon Hill Farm, Kingman Island and the Franciscan Monastery and National Cathedral -- and a blurb about presidential pets), statuary, music, food, horticulture, power, sports, ghosts, architecture, literature, transportation etc. As you can tell these aren't walking tours. Instead each theme gets four pages filled with photos, drawings, fun facts and information about festivals, artifacts, history and spectacle. I try to get to WDC once or twice a year, yet I still found plenty of interesting ideas for further exploration. If you are planning a visit (with or without kids),this would be agreat way to help them choose a few things they'd like to see. Information is presented in a friendly way but is not dumbed down. There is an adequate, if incomplete, index. It would be useful to have a calendar of all the events listed too.

Great book of fun facts about nation’s capital!
Format: Flexibound
I take my 3 boys (3, 5, 7) to Washington DC each year. This is a wonderful book full of fun facts for our nation’s capital. If you are looking for a kid version of a travel book that maps you through neighborhoods, etc., this is not it, but what kid would like that kind of book? That’s what grown-ups are for - mapping out the trip. Rather, this is a great supplement to read at bedtime to learn all sorts of facts about the city - from the historical pets of the White House to the error in the inscription on the Abraham Lincoln memorial. Really - these are great facts for adults also! Each page is a separate set of topics on its own, so it’s easy to read just a few pages at a time. Also there are great illustrations to hold the younger audience’s interest as well. This is a great buy and a must-have to get kids ready for their trip, or to read during it, or after (or all three!).

City Trails is not a guided walking tour (like the Freedom Trail here in Boston) of the Metro DC area. No addresses or street names are noted in the blurbs. To actually visit any of these places, you’ll have to consult a real map. For instance, the chapter “Statue City” highlights notable statuary around town. But the Capitol Building statues (in SE DC) are far from the Cathedral ones (in NW DC.) The themed groupings (G-G-G-Ghosts, Animals Around Town, Water World and more) are less maps to any place and more of an interesting overview of our Nation’s amazingly diverse and action-packed city. It’s best read as a primer on experiencing the flavor of the city (I lived and worked there.) It reads more along the lines of the “Weird But True” series made famous by National Geographic for Kids. I don’t see this being of value to tourists in town for a limited time whose sightseeing is going to include major attractions like government buildings (White House, Capitol), museums (Smithsonian), some monuments (Jefferson, Lincoln, Washington) and other popular sites (Ford’s Theater.) This guide is actually best suited for the Metro-area (WDC, MD and VA) resident – child or adult - who wants a deeper dive into their hometown’s off-the-beaten-path sights and stories. A well designed and written book of historical trivia.
