This item is shipped in a protective wood crate via freight truck directly to you. The trucking company will call you to set up an appointment to deliver it. They can bring the crate into a garage or similar location, but they do not carry it upstairs or help you open the crate. If you have specific questions about delivery, please contact us.

Grotta Sonora created their Giant Gong Series with a deeper, thicker rim, and a thicker material than smaller sizes. The presence of a prominent rim helps to focus and accentuate the overall sound of the gong, creating a very deep, focused fundamental tone with long sustain and strong presence.
Each gong in their line of Giant gongs has its own, unique etching and design. Each gong is not only beautiful in sound, but stands on its own as a work of visual art.
Grotta Sonora gongs are made from an alloy with a high presence of nickel mixed with stainless steel.
