The set of three black 15 lb SAN-2B Sandbags from Porta Brace are designed to add weight and stability to light stands when larger lights are used and they become top-heavy. Also, when you are using a tripod in the field, certain environments may be windy; by adding a sandbag, it will prevent the tripod from falling over in the wind.
The durable 1000-denier Cordura sandbags have separate flexible pouches inside which securely hold and prevent the sand from leaking out. Moreover, each saddle-style bag is easily picked up by the nylon handle and secured via the included stainless steel hook and ring when the bag is wrapped around a light stand's legs.
